Good choice of pic, i thought the other one was some sort of missle at first.
Would the shape of the wing maybe suggest a B-2?
Ok mate guess I can provide some insite here.
1. Sea Shadow was retired a few years ago, she did a trip down here to Australia, I remember seeing her on the news coming into Sydney Harbour. Not long after that they retired her. I did hear however, that she was coming out of retirement for another series of tests, but I think they finished those. One thing is certain, she’ll never be scrapped, she is too valuable for scrapping.
2. As for that Bond flick ship, no that was never real, they modeled it on Sea Shadow but it was bigger (well supposedly).
Thanks for the info, much appreciated! Cheers!
Happy birthday to a great aircraft! To many more years of safe flying!

Wasn’t dropped in favor of the Mig-AT aircraft?

Maybe someday, some of us will be lucky to see some of these so-called top-secret aircraft the US and other nations hold behind closed doors. No one had ever heard of the Have Blue program until it was released to the public just a few years ago. Only a select few know what is really going on at Area 51 and whatever other classified installation the US may have elsewhere.
As for China, anything is possible at this stage. They had developed several new fighters in the last few years so what’s to say that they don’t have a stealth fighter somewhere.
The A380 is a beautiful aircraft on the simple fact that it is a beautiful feat of engineering in its own right. The same could be said of the An-225 or the 747. Each one of these aircraft have taken the design bar to new heights and it will take an incredible design to challenge it. Whether the next giant of the air comes from Boeing, Antonov or another design bureau, they will have their work cut out for them.
No matter the opinion, a lot of respect should be given to Airbus for going ahead with such a program.

That’s just nine days away. Will Airbus have completed all taxy and other tests needed before the first flight can be completed? I guess it’s not a moment too soon since they are behind schedule, bu that does seem a little quick since they only started the engines for the first time only yesterday.

First engine start
Just wondering, what’s with all the smoke? Do new engines which have never been started always produce this effect when started for the first time?
