I recently picked up the James Bond DVD sets and started watching them in the order they were released. So thus far, I’ve watched Dr NO, From Russia With Love and Goldfinger. Unfortunately, work has come into play to spoil the fun so I won’t be able to watch another movie until later this week.
While I was at it, I picked up the Blade Trolgy boxset, The Mummy boxset including the Scorpion King and the Ace Ventura two-DVD pack.
All of this means I have a lot of movie watching to do. Cheers!
Travelling between Toronto and Niagara Falls with Greyhound is a possibility. May I suggest taking the train between Chicago and Toronto. Eleven hours in a bus is harsh on the system. Check out rates with both Amtrack (US railway service) and VIA Rail (Canadian railway service), it might be cheaper than Greyhound which have always been, in my opinion, been more expensive than the train. This could be another option for your travels toward Boston, if that’s a city you wish to visit.
Cheers and good luck with your further planning!

Yeah Steve! Why is that? Why has Tom Hanks turned you off from Apollo 13?
Anyway, I have had the time to check out Armegeddon, which is always good to watch for a little bit of a laugh during certain scenes. Otherwise, it is an entertaining flick which exposes us to something which could one day become a reality.
Otherwise, I also had the chance to check out Assault on Precinct 13, the latest incarnetion with Laurence Fishburne and Ethan Hawke. Not a bad little movie but I wich they would have used someone other Ethan Hawke in the title role. Never been a big fan of his and I can’t really tell you why that is!

Personally, I wouldn’t even waste my time with Buffalo. Not much to do there aside from maybe a hockey game. The Buffalo Sabres are doing very well this year and are favorites to win the Stanley Cup. The same result would be expected for the 2007/08 season which would still be underway when you are planning to travel across North America. However, you can do all of these things in Toronto which is a hop and a skip away from Niagara Falls.
To be truthfull, I’ve been to Buffalo once and I promised myself I would never return. The reasons being that the city is absolutely dirty and I simply didn’t feel safe. I felt that if I said something stupid, I didn’t know whether or not I would successfully return to Canada. The surrounding area on the other hand is incredibly beautiful. But like I said, I think you might have a better time travelling through Toronto/Niagara Falls and then moving on to one of your other destinations.
Toronto will have hockey, if you are interested, and I recommend you give the experience a try. Watching a hockey game live is quite an incredible thing to do. Toronto also has a pro Basketball team. Not sure if that’s your cup of tea but also something I recommend doing. After that, it’s a matter of preference on where you would rather spend your money. Toronto or Buffalo. Knowing what I know, I would go for Toronto, catch a hockey or basketball game, travel to Niagara Falls for a night or two depending on your schedule and then drive to Pearson International and move on to your next destination.
At least that’s how I would do it. Feel free to private message me if you have anymore questions

Checked out Another 48 Hours. Nice little movie to watch but nowhere near as good as the original movie. I still enjoyed it all the same.
On the other hand, I just started watching Apollo 13 with Tom Hanks. I’ve always enjoyed watching this movie. It’s a great story of overcoming adversity at its best.

I’d have to agree with Contrialjj. If you’re intent on checking out the falls from Buffalo, don’t bother, you’d be wasting your money. Check them out from the Canadian side. Niagara Falls is such a nice place to visit and the Falls from the Canadian side are a much better sight to see. At night, they are an absolutely splendid sight to see and if you do come in the winter time, it adds to the scenery if there is ice and snow.
As for Bangkok, like someone else said, it’s a dirty city and not much to see there. Mind you, the last time I was there was twenty and some odd years ago. However, Phuket is the place to be if you want to relax on the beach and catch some rays.
I hope you make your travel dreams come true. Cheers!

Chelsea 2-1 Arsenal
That fight at the end was.. well, interesting.
The game wasn’t televised here in good old Canada so I missed the game and the highlights later that evening. But from the various news reports I’ve read online, I imagine it must have been quite interesting.
It is interesting however that Arsenal played most of their younger players and not Henry and a few of the other players. I wonder if the outcome would have been different if the man had played. Might Arsenal have won the game if he had started his big guns.
Cheers!

Ohhhh, someone local.
Yes there are lots… but my point is I had never seen two of them track together across the whole sky so close.
The sky is filled with the white scars everywhere you look.
Cheers from London.
Cousin. :diablo:
A few months ago, flying from Paris CDG to Toronto YYZ, we flew in formation with another B763 for about three hours until finally the other aircraft overtook us and disappeared into the distance ahead of us.
I can garantee that second aircraft was no further than one thousand feet away from us. It great to see it! Then again that was over the Atlantic when most flights from Europe are headed west. Cheers!
Try strategic thinktanks like globalsecurity.org or fas.org. These two sites generally have great information about the armed forces of different countries. Not sure if they have anything on the UK as I’ve never really looked into it but it’s worth a shot. Cheers!
