I would imagine that North Korea must come pretty high on the list of least desired countries in which to live: no food, repressive dictatorship and wall-to-wall propaganda. This is the picture that comes from the media of course, but if it were incorrect, why do the NK government not try to correct it?

    I couldn’t agree more!

As much as I sympathize with their problems (Being out of work isn’t fun) , no one wilkl give you respect if you go out into the street and destroy someone else’s property! Their actions are simple barbarisism and stupidity to a new level. If they really wanted to work, I am sure they would be able to find something, somewhere, even if it is only as a dishwasher in a corner restaurant. Maybe then people will respect them!
As for the government, the only thing wrong they have done is deal with this softly. Sarkzy, Villepin and the others are wimps who are afraid of the repurcusions of the decision which really need to be taken. Hit them (The rioters) and hit them hard! Make them fear the idea of going into the streets to protest their so-called lack of respect to the point where the mere thought of doing something stupid will force them to stay home! If they are capable of taking a life, than their rights are gone for comitting the ultimate crime! Shoot back, don’t fall back but move forward! The footage of the officer showing a spent cartridge to the press and just standing there shocked me! By now, if I had been in Sarkozy’s shoes, I would have ordered the police to get in there and make them regret their decision to cause the destruction they have caused for the last twelve night. No mercy to those sho are disrupting the peace! Grab them, pack them and send them to jail for twenty years for being stupid! They deserve it!
It is time for Sarkozy to wake up and smell the coffee. If he is to run for the presidency in 2007, he better do something now or otherwise, he won’t be getting my vote! His actions in the coming days will distate his political future and right now, it’s definitely not looking good for him!

Star Wars? Forget that…I’ve got all the Alien movies on DVD :diablo:

And I think the 360 comes out here in the US on November 22, so mine will be here a day or two afterwards since it’s coming in the mail.

The best part is that the XBox system has codecs for all major types of surround sound: 5.1, DTS, THX, etc.

Aliens will do just fine although I only really like the first two installements. I imagine you are getting fairly impatient to get your Xbox 360 and everyday must be getting harder for you! I know I can’t wait to get my new PS3. :diablo:

I’ve been hunting twice – once each year in November. Up in the
Smokey Mountains, … stuff snipped by mod for space reasons ….. Can you say you’re proud when you see
a side of beef, or a strip steak?

I couldn’t agree with you more!

Not a “Christmas” movie per se, but I think this will hand Harry Potter his ass next month…

    King Kong

    More than likely!
