SOC, when are you getting you’re XBox 360. My company is doing a complete reset on XBox assets prior to a release in Canada on November 24th I believe?
Congratulations on your purchase, you’ll be perfectly set up come Superbowl time! Enjoy!
There is a Sony 60inch on clearance for twenty-five hundred Canadian I have my eye on. My boss will let me have it if it isn’t sold by Christmas time! I am keeping my fingers crossed! :p If I get it, Star Wars Marathon at my place! 🙂

I do not hunt often but when I do, I enjoy the thrill of it. Me against the animal! Sometimes I’ll win and other time my estimed opponent will get the better of me and I will loose the track (Try hunting in challenging terrain in south eastern France). I have lost many tracking dogs to wild boars or because they fell into a ravine tracking what we were hunting.
For many, hunting has become a barbaric sport, where people enjoy spilling the blood of an innocent creature. I do it because it brings me pleasure in the sense of the hunt where it is me against the animal, matching wits to see who will come out on top.
Those who think that I am barbarian because I enjoy doing this, think of those who work in the slaughter houses and kill hundreds of cows, pigs and seafood, just so you enjoy the better things in life. I worked for a restaurant chain who had a contract with a slaughter house who supplied us with top quality steaks. One of their sales rep once told me that they can only use twelve percent of the animal for the market. That to me is a waste!
At least, when I hunt, like J33Nelson, I will give away some of the meat I will have gathered to those who are less fortunate and to the local butchers so that they can sell it to the masses. I make a profit, he makes a profit, those in need are fed and everyone is happy!
Hunting isn’t a sport everyone will enjoy but don’t knock it until you try it.

Stupid. There’s alot of talk about immigrants having problems & wanting “respect”. As the saying goes; respect has to be EARNED. Not demanded.
With all the savagery & criminality of the riots, they haven’t even come close to earning it.
Whatever the problems, there is never any excuse for that kind of savage barbarity. The French government should send in troops to back up the police immediately & crack down hard on all the savages & criminals.

    I agree with you completely!

    zouzy86 asks:

where does the US and Canada stand with France?

I am unsure what he means, but I am certain that they both understand how serious the situation is and will support whatever action the French authorities take to stop the rioting. I doubt there are many who are getting any satisfaction from it.

While immigrant populations in NA are better intergrated, there are some neighbourhoods in many large cities that have large immigrant populations including some that are muslim. This gives us some notion of how difficult it is for the French authorities and how difficult it would be to deal with a simliar event over here.

In Canada back in the 1990’s idiots from both the Kurdish and Serbian communities in Toronto and Ottawa decided to show their appreciation for being allowed into Canada, by taking to the streets and abusing the police with rocks and fire bombs because of what was going back in the “homeland”.

So far, it seems the french authoritities have shown remarkable restraint. Perhaps its time shoot anyone caught lighting the fires. That wouldn’t solve the principle causes of the riots but it might buy some time.

    Sauron

If anything, shooting any of them might spark more rioting in more cities! Immigrants in France have been frustrated for years that none can find work and the fact that they are subjected to unfair treatment due to their ethnic background! A few are probably trying to send a message to the French government while the others are simply taking advantage of the situation because they have nothing better to do! Arrest them, throw them in jail for a few years or better yet, send them back to where they came from!
