That’s a lot of firepower in place and an intimidating sight! 🙁

Great to see more A380s flying although for the people in Toulouse, it must now be somewhat of a daily routine. For the few aviation enthusiast living there, I must say that they are lucky.
Steph, I’ve said before and I’ll say it again, fantastic shots! Keep them coming! 🙂

By the way, do you have any precise info on MSN001’s engine troubles? Cheers!

I just tried it and I had eighteen right as well on the expert level. I have to admit that some of the aircraft they showed, I had never seen before.

Here’s the story. The wife finally agreed to let me get a gigantoid flat-screen TV. My question to you all is, what should I get, LCD or plasma? Is an LCD preferable over a plasma screen? I play a lot of video games, so will I destroy a plasma screen through burn-in? Anybody have any experiences or expertise to share?

So far, I’m leaning towards a Panasonic TH-50PHD8UK plasma display. Not worried about an actual all-up HDTV, as I have digital cable anyway (and the TV version is around $3000 USD more). This is apparently the end-all, be-all of plasma displays on the market right now. Here’s a link: http://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ModelDetail?displayTab=O&storeId=11201&catalogId=13051&itemId=94540&catGroupId=32751&modelNo=TH-50PHD8UK&surfModel=TH-50PHD8UK

SOC, I work for a chain called Future Shop which a subsidiary of Best Buy. You right to say that you will burn your screen in the long run if you play a lot of video games. The best thing I can recommend if that you head down to your neighborhood Best Buy or Circuit City and have a chat with a sales associate from the Home Theatre department. They’ll probably have the model you want on display and you’ll be able to see the picture first hand. I take a look at all of the models we have in store and its hard to choose which one has the best picture. In the end, it’s all about preference!
Have fun shopping! 🙂 It’s quite an experience to see our customers look at several different models and try to figure out which one it is they want.

Great pics as everyone else has mentioned.
It is great to know the A380 programme is stepping up a notch with the arrival of a third flying prototype.

Spiders don’t scare me, I am bigger than they are! :diablo:
Heights, well I jumped out of perfectly good airplanes for absolutely no good reason but to get my wings! 😀
Darkness, a soldier’s best friend if used properly. 🙂
Swimming, I am like a fish and I can last longer with a rebreather! Love it! 🙂

But what does scare are snakes and it doesn’t really matter how big they are. Whether a garden snake or a massive twenty-five foot Boa or python, they freak me out! 😮 I have come within thirty feet of a Royal Cobra in the jungles of Thailand when I was about thirteen and that freaked me right out, to the point where I almost cried. Nothing would have happened to me as I was surrounded by good people but the simple thought of being amongst such creatures was quite discomforting! 😮 🙁

One of the reasons why we mistrust the Middle East is because of the portrayal displayed by the medias. We are made to see more negatives than positives. We here more about the daily bombings in Iraq, the murders, the kidnappings and other atrocities. When was the last time any of us heard of something overly positive coming from this region of the world. Aside from the possible ratification of Iraq’s new constitution, when was the last time we heard of a new hospital opening providing badly needed medical help for those in need or when was the last time we heard of the reopening of a school where Iraqi children could learn of their once rich history.
All we ever here about is the amount of people who get butchered by people who are fighting a so-called crusade against an invader. How can the Iraqi people continue to protect those who kill there own daily? These are the questions asked by us the little people and the answer we get from the so-called experts is that they are savages, mere uneducated barbarians who have little care for human life. Such a description could somewhat be accurate of the people who pledge allegiance to Al-Qeada. But what of those who stay at home and hope this senseless violence will soon end so that they can return to a sense of normalcy. They sit idly by while they get slaughtered like sheep while, it seems, the rest of the world waits for the American President to call it quits.
Can we really sit here in the comfort of our plush homes and watch the innocent get killed daily by people who have very little respect for others? I don’t think so! The problem lies in the way the conflict is being fought. Not enough effort is being made in flushing out the enemy! This comes from bad leadership from the highest office! This supposed war on terror has became a joke since Iraqi Freedom came to a conclusion.
In the end, no matter what happens, we will only see the negatives come from the battlefield which lead us to mistrust those from the Middle East, which is unfortunate as I have many friends who are of Middle Eastern origins and I can tell you that none of them are anything like what we see on the news on a daily basis. One of them was even born in Teheran and I can tell you that he hopes things will change in his homeland as he still has relatives there.
