`I seem to recall they were pipped at the post by another individual (Colin Waterworth?)` not Colin he …got his from Shrewsbury (just spoke to him)and the Pennine lot got theirs from somewhere around that area too.

Is Cyprus the runway that goes out to sea? An old drinking buddy told me they took off in a Shackleton with quite a few passengers and barely cleared the waves and struggled into the air overloaded..The pilot was asked how high they were after take-off and he shouted ” nothing on the clock but the makers name”.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-514630/Pedigrees-chum-Meet-man-M-S-tests-pets-ready-meals.html Yes they do still taste test pet foods,they had about 12 tables there with full time testers when I worked there in 1984.,where they were from I do not know,it was avery specialised job believe it or not.I have made curries with dog food when I was a student based on what I saw,never made me Ill and it tasted really nice.I also had heathy gums and a lovely shiney hair,but the car chasing became a problem.
