    So, 5 Dec 1943… and on its first mission. Tragic.

    I went there in 1990,the gamekeeper who showed me around had just given away an undercarriage leg from this aircraft,he gave me some really nice bits.The houses demolished by the explosion were never rebuilt and all overgrown,there was still a crater there.

    Theres a chap who sells them on ebay,type in repros,they`re good quality,think I paid about £30 for mine.He does a top quality G type mask rubber too.

    Hello,

    Ahead of Newark this coming weekend, if anyone has a Mk 4B Gyro gunsite available for sale/swap, you would really be helping the Hornet cockpit progress.

    This mark was also used on Meteors and Sea Furies.

    Got a few boxes of wartime 20mm cannon links Anon together with a rubber mold you can cast up the mock heads for the rounds if they are of any use ?

    Just after the Mrs went shopping the other day the Mother-in-law turned up at the front door ringing the bell…i went down into the wine cellar and pretended nobody was home…nasty eh!!!
