Sweet Pictures! What airfield was it?
😮 You’re joking of course! 😮
Excellent I remember those noisy Aviaco DC-8’s also the Spantax flights, were they DC-8’s too or Coronados? Can’t recall I was about ten at the time?
Spantax operated both to GLA.
Speaking of DC-8’s there’s one due at PIK on Sunday I’m told.
Nice sight. 🙂
You’ve given me an idea Kaplan, how about this oldie I took recently (lol) 😀
Here’s more 😀

Found these and some more photos in an album.
Excellent, that AMT one is at PIK?
:eek:!!! Very nice Kaplan… some great golden oldies. Very nostalgic, and great to see a VC-10! True classic. 🙂
Thanks for posting these up, if you have anymore they would be appreciated. 🙂
Here goes –
The last one must be 40 years old, or thereabouts 🙂
😮
Late 70’s!
Just love those out of window shots, what base is that where all the C5’s are parked?
Dover AFB Delaware.
Great pics! When was that EAL B747 taken!???
2001 I think?
Very nice collection, it’s been a couple of years since I visited Gran Canaria which is also the scene of my first ever DC-10 flight. I passed the abandoned Douglas on a bus too, didn’t stop for a picture though. 😀
Great to see those 707’s still flying isn’t it ?
Very good pics indeed and it’s always nice to see a 707! 🙂
Excellent shots as per usual! 😀
What are the fire brigade doing with that Air Transat A310?
Nothing serious, just a fuel spill.
Is that the Floatplane version of the 767? 😮
The usual superb photos 🙂
Must agree, very nice indeed.
Nice pics, was ‘Black Mike’ on display?
-Dazza
Sure was! 🙂
