    It does seem to have a lot of sticky out bits – maybe they came from the extra fuselage height of the 1900D over the 1900C.

    737’s also have sticky out bits though – and they even have deformed engines!

    That’s actually a good question!! How do you get into a parked aircraft – do they have key fobs like cars, and when you blip them the airstairs come down? Do you need a key or a PIN to start the engines?

    Well I never knew that!

    Is it just an engine thing (not that I want to dis Russky engines) ? If so there would seem to be possibilities for export sales if it were re-engined with something like a GE90 or a Trent ?

    That’s a very nice colour scheme – better than the green blobs we’re all used to!

    Will the aircraft be used all over Europe now (seeing as TC is a multinational), or will ex-UK flights still use G-reg aircraft?

    Yeah, I know the website describes it all – but it seems a bit of an amateurish site and it’s such an outlandish idea…the immediate reaction is “fraud”.

    That’s why I was interested in the technical feasibility.

    Well sadly, citizens of the USA and Israel are targets, and with the solid securty rep of El Al (which owns Arkia, I think?) it was probably inevitable something would be attempted.

    Good call from the pilot though, proceeding on – quick thinking.

    Nice idea but I think it would be impossible in the Uk due to beaurocracy. Anyone have comments on the technical feasibility?

    Out of interest wywiwyg, is JMC an actual airline in its own right, or is it a brand name used by the parent for the UK market? (like the old Snickers / Marathon thing)

    Great aircraft. If Boeing or Lockheed made it, the USAF would have hundreds flying around.
