They could make one about ‘Operation Tidal Wave’ the low level attack on Ploesti Oil fields , a brave attempt at low level ending in tragedy for lots of crews , stated as one of the worst aviation disasters of the 2 WW , but full of heroism none the less , what could be more thrilling than three Bomb Groups converging by accident and ill fortune onto a target from three directiona all at the same height harried by fighters and point blank ground fire . losing 53 out of 178 B24 Liberators ,
A shed load of work for the Computer graphics people , not too sure how many B24s are flyable though ,

The Carbon type things could be off a searchlight , electrodes that give out the bright light ,

Whenever a bunch of people get Blown-up .. they all regain consciousness within a few seconds of each other unless they are unknown extras , they .. stay dead !
