    BBC Coverage.

BBC East Midlands today had a decent piece on tonight, 2nd item on the show.
I posted earlier on today that the Beeb’s video clips on the Vulcan had crashed and were unavailable for download, whereas the clips on all their TOP stories (Benzine Butty etc) were still available. Surely that should have made them realise that the Vulcan’s return was of National interest and therefore warranted a mention………… Of course not. Maybe the Vulcan is not PC enough for their target audience. I bet Raymond Baxter is spinning as we speak.

Is it just me or are the BBC media sites not showing the Vulcan clip? Looks like we have crashed their bandwidth!! Strange that you can still access Benzine Butty’s news clips. Maybe people here in the UK are more interested in the Delta Lady.

Absolutely Brill. If you have a Sky box scroll down the programmes list to just before the radio channels. You get the xtra BBC regions here. Select BBC East Midlands at tea time. It was their lead story at lunchtime and did a live piece. Camera work was good with both take off and landing. 🙂

Posted that earlier, but its probably about 6 pages back now!!
    Channel 980 on SKY.

Don’t scroll forward to reach that channel if Granny/Mother in Law/Kids are around as the channels before are rather…how shall I say…. saucy!! 😉

    Quote: Takeoff was 1227

I was only 7 minutes out then!! (12:20) Anyone get closer?

I think a mass email/text to Sky asking for confirmation on the Vulcan story and if one of the multiscreens can be given over. Why 3 screens on one blooming story??? If you do have sky, and are not in the East Mids, just remember you can get the local East Mids BBC news (channel 980) at 13:30 (if she has gone up by then) which should have a more in depth than National BBC.

Chappy on PPRuNe Military said engines were running at 11:43?

3 BLOOMIN’ SCREENS FER GODS SAKE!!
