Fantastic shots! Excellent to see the UA in new livery. I was there this time last week, not one in the new livery
Pity there isnt many proper airlines to photograph at Stansted. Bring back the Air UK Fokker F27s and Bae 146s and the Shorts 360s, also UKLeisures 737-400s. I hate Ryanair!!
Well if you could tell me where in the UK i can photograph those ones you mentioned, then I’d be happy to do so for you. But as far as my history tells me, they died out a long while ago. If I had waited til later in the evening, I would have got the likes of CSA and Malev. ‘Proper’ enough for you?
Many thanks for the comments….and thank you, I’m also glad I wasn’t hurt in the crash. Bloody miracle!
Thanks for the comments. If you have flown on an FR or EZY plane, let me know. Chances are I have taken a photo of it at some point, but just haven’t put it on the forum cos there are so many others like it.
Final few..
Thank you very much all for the comments, makes the hours of work I put in worth it! 😀 Spent 5 hours going through these lot and editing the other night
T5: I’ll go through the photos within the next few days and if I think any are worthy, I’ll put them up 😉
Nice group of photos there, I think the TCX A330 looks great.
And finally, my chosen shot of the day. This made it worth waiting til sunset for! 😀 I took about 180 other photos, so if these aren’t enough I can try and post more.
Some close-ups?
Thanks very much Il62 and Kabir. That last selection were just a general bunch….here are my personal favs from yesterday
Now for some other bits and pieces….
I’m sorry I cant answer your question, but don’t they also appear below the cockpit on Airbuses? Got this on a pic of mine…see the highlighted area.
Looks good Sandy. I’d say BY fuselage colour, TCX engines, tail and font, then the same blue as used by TCX extending down from the tail onto the fuselage. Something along those lines 😎
Great report Mark, very interesting indeed. Have always wanted to fly on the Trislander. When I very first wanted to be an airline pilot my dream was to fly the Trislander….but I think the pay is very poor. Maybe a near-retirement job :p
Fantastic shots, especially the silhouette of the IB climbing out! DUS looks like an excellent airport for spotting/photography judging by that lot. Lots of good vantage points, or is there a well placed viewing terrace or something?
