As I previously mentioned, I spent a little while at the airport on Sunday. This is mainly a German day, but isn’t as busy as the British equivalent. Here are some shots I got, and without being big-headed I really like the last Futura one! 😀

Firstly, here’s for the good news:

PS. Thanks Britannia and LBA, lots more to come yet! 😀

Very nice shots there Skymonster, would that MyTravel Lite happen to be G-FHAJ? Got this shot of it at STN a couple of months ago, it really is a mess.

I use ‘Airlines 2004’ published by The Aviation Hobby Shop. I got it for £8.95, and it’s extremely good. It has the fleets of every single airline in every single country of the world, and so you rarely find an aircraft that isn’t in there. It is as up to date as they can possibly make it, and they often include planes that aren’t yet delivered if they already know the reg’s that the airline has allocated them to use.

I don’t think they have a website, but Im sure you could arrange to get a copy by phoning them on (01895)442123. They’re based in West Drayton, Middlesex.

Nice reports, did you not go into the BA CLub World lounge at LHR at all? Pure class and more free facilities than you can shake a jumbo at (whatever it may actualy be!!)

Great stuff sounds like alot of fun! And Jeremy coming… wow!

Especially for us! He flew in one of his airline’s Tu204’s into Stansted this morning all the way from Siberia, and then cauht an EZY flight over to BFS. He then flew back on EZY this afternoon, and will be somewhere near St Petersburg by now in his plane 😀

Ok, got some shots uploaded from my EZY 737 STN-BFS flight the other day. I had pre-planned it, knowing how the planes were using RWY23, to get a view of my town (and house) from the air. The one with my house in it is of a particularly bad quality, but I’ll point it out anyway!

1.First is a lo-co line up at STN.
2.Next is after take-off, over flying various long stay carparks.
3.Perfect aerial view of my town from the air. In central area of photo is cinema complex, train station and various other buildings. Only really interesting when you know the place! 😀
    4. My house, pointed out. This was taken with no zoom, but is very grainy as this is a small part of the pic cut out, and had to mess with the colours a lot to make the buildings more clear.
    5. Low on approach to Aldergrove in very poor weather (particularly for summer)
    6. Coming to a halt on the runway. 2 EZY’s, a TNT A300 and Jet2 737 parked up.

Here’s both sides of CNT in it’s Sun logojet, and then how it appears in the Vodafone cs.

What happened to the livery on the ryanair B737 shown on the last photo

This is EI-CNT and it displayed these titles until last year when it transferred over to the Vodafone logo jet. Was sponsored by the Sun/News of the World newpaper company. On one side had the ‘Supersunic’ titles you can see, and then had ‘News of the World’ titles on the other side.

BTW More great shots Grey Area!

Yes the 733’s are going very soon. Quite possibly by the end of the year. Most of the leases are coming to an end, and they are also trying to transfer to an all-Airbus fleet asap. This isn’t really bad news though, as it means STN will then be a -700 base and we’ll have nicer, newer aircraft. After Orly, STN is to become the next A319 base, and so we should see a nice mixture of -700’s and A319’s here by next year 😀

Very nice shots, love the Germanwings livery. IMO, one of the best around in European skies at the moment. Also nice to see the Bmi319, another fantastic livery 😀
