First is of some unknown Malaysian city, seen whilst approaching SIN. Next is slowing down for the approach, the black ‘dot’ above the wing is infact the CX340.
Anyone for a game of Solitaire?
Great cloud formations as we descend into SIN. Following us on the approach was a CX340, which unfortunately I couldn’t catch in this shot.
Yummy! Breakfast on QF, excellent 😀
Isolated islands in the Indian Ocean.
Just leaving India, into the Bay of Bengal.
Rivers in India.
We had about 2 hours at FRA, before we had to board QF5 to Singapore. The plane was VH-OJB, and I was assigned seat 52A, just at the back of the wing. Take off on time, quick climb and then routed over Poland-Southern Russia-Turkmenistan-Pakistan-India-Bay of Bengal-Malaysian Peninsula and then finally into SIN. Very good flight, service and food was excellent, although crew could have been a bit more happy. Two pics shortly after sunrise over Southern Russia.
Must not forget this one, make way for photo of the day! :p
More clouds….
Sorry, no take off pics due to crap on window. Not much interesting anyway, I was on the right hand side for a RWY27R departure and so it was only fields and a few motorways. Managed to salvage this pic, only clouds to see though.
Lovely livery.
Would help if I attatched it! And by the way, I do know that you can now do multiple attatchments, but I prefer to do them separately and do a running commentary as I go along.
Well as most of you know, my first flight was on BA A319 G-EUPC, from Heathrow-Frankfurt. I did take lots of pics on this flight, but unfortunately the window was filthy, as was the case coming back on BA this morning 😡 Therefore, only the odd few pics have come out, but I’ll try my best! We pushed back and took off 5 mins late on RWY27R, then made a turn South over Dover. Had our all day deli snack, very nice chicken roll!
Only enroute for an hour, then descended straight into FRA. As we turned off the runway, looked back to see 7 planes (!) all on approach, coming in on the parallel runways. As we taxied, caught a glimpse of the Aero Flight A321 (D-ARFA) that featured in the news section of last month’s AW. Parked up next to our Qantas plane, for the connecting flight, and got to sit in the cockpit! 😀
First is a pic of the tail line-up outside T1.
Will do! Shame the Qantas flight attendants seem to be of the older generation……hmmmm. That’s that idea out the window! Ah well, I’m just gonna eat and sleep, then try and sweet talk the pilots at the end of the flight to get in the cockpit, my next challenge.
