Great shots, really like the Bmi with the sun rays and the Easyjet A319. Why can’t they come to Stansted?!
Michael, i’ve had the exact same problems recently. At the moment I have one come up called ‘perfectnav’ and another called ‘mysearch’, neither of which I want. However, i have managed to get rid of them. Go to http://www.lavasoft.com and download a program called ‘ad-aware 6’. It will download and install quickly and easily, then all you have to do is run a search of your computer and it’ll find everything that ‘spies’ on you. As mentioned, this thing you have is likely to be GAIN software, and tracks all your computer records etc. Once ad-aware has found all the files, you simply delete them and that should be it! When it searched my pc, it found 819 spy-ware programs 😮 Now that they are all deleted, my PC works a whole lot quicker aswell. Hope this helps:D

Or you could get projectai! Go to http://www.projectai.com then go to ‘official files’. Download the installer, then you will see there are lots of airline packages you can download, from all around the world. Once you have the packages you want, you install them quite easily, and then that airline’s routes and aircraft are put into your simulator. They also go by the proper timetables, and so you will get busy and quiet periods at certain airports.
It makes it so much more interesting in several ways. Firstly you have other planes to look at whilst enroute (with the AI labels) and by lookin at the airline and aircraft, you can think about where they might be going. It’s also a lot more interesting when going to take-off, becuase instead of Landmarks’ And Orbit’s, you may have to hold for something such as a BA 757. And finally, it is a lot more interesting when coming into an airport. For example after a flight the other day into Faro, I landed just behind a MyTravel A321, and had to get off the runway for an Easyjet 737 to depart. Other days, the airport can be full with other airlines such as BA, TAP, Fischer and Transavia.
I have downloaded all the airline packages on there, and it makes it so much better! They also go by the ATC, just like the other AI aircraft. Although you will find that the FS ATC may struggle sometimes with all the extra traffic, it is usually fine. A picture I took whilst holding at Dublin yesterday, of a Buzz arriving from Stansted.
Nice pictures Kev, particularly the first one! Is it rare to see a 747 at BHX then I take it?

My camera has a zoom of 50 to 200mm, or thereabouts.
And did you have to use the full extent of your zoom for those pics? 50-200mm is around 10X in ‘optical zoom’ terms isn’t it?
Nice pictures, I like all the EAL’s at Bournemouth. What camera do you have?
Nice pictures! Particularly the first KLM 777 and the last KLM MD-11. How much zoom do you use to get the pictures like that?
Nice report! You were saying about the photography being bad in Singapore, although the spotting is good…….is there chance to get good clear views of the planes for some photos from the gates? Or is there anywhere else to get photos from, as I am travelling through there in May and would like to make the most of it. Thanks

Cyprus is quite a bit further than Athens really. It is stretching it with a fully loaded B737-700 I reckon…
Not quite! I flew all the way from Gatwick-Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt on a fully laiden Astraeus 737-700 2 years ago.
Tarom 737?

Yes both right, but can anybody get the first airline? 😀 😀 😀
A difficult one, but is it Hapag Lloyd?
Yes very good news for these new destinations, and for me down here at Stansted. Although I doubt I’ll notice much of a difference down here at STN, it’s about time they set-up some new routes.
The contrails appear above 30,000ft. As for making planes ‘smoke’ like on the Extra 300, I suppose that takes some programme file editing.
