Yep I have to agree, very nice! Particularly the first one! 😀
Yes both very good, but the second one has to be the best! If only the airlines would listen……..
Nice pictures Graham. And you are indeed very lucky to see the A318, I haven’t seen one yet! I probably wont notice it the first time I see it, but then I will realise when I look up the reg and it isn’t an A319!
Yes that is an incredible shot, I have seen that and often wondered how the photographer managed it. The only possible explanation I can offer, is that he was an airport worker. He had got somewhere down the end of the runway, and then using a a big zoom, has made it appear that he is that close to the plane. Thinking about it, I don’t think the zoom would have had to be all that much really. If it was near the end of the runway, maybe a 300mm could have bought it close enough…..
Ahh I thought that might be a give away! Ah well, lucky you! For many years I had wanted to do low-level manual flying, like in little island hoppers. For example Aurigny on the little Trislanders. However, fairly recently I have found out that the pay is really bad, and not many pilots actually like it. I then decided that I’d love to fly for a charter airline, such as Monarch or Thomas Cook. Warm holiday destinations in the Summer, then snowy skiing destinations in the winter. Well, I know this isn’t everything behind it, but just a rought outline of what I’d like to do! One day though (hopefully!) towars the end of my flying career, I’d like to go somewhere such as the Antilles and fly for a little airline such as Winair. At this stage, earning lots of money will not be as necessary as it is at other points in your career. But it’d be nice for a bit of fun, a bit of what I’d really like to do.
Windows 95 crashes yet AGAIN!
Spotty M Driver, who do you fly for, and what other aircraft have you flown before? As you may have gathered I want to be an airline pilot and I just like to get as much information from other pilots as I can. Thanks 😀
All very nice, particularly that GOL one. I love the mountains in the background. Also that KLM 737-900 is very nice and detailed!
Very nice site! The red tint works very well, and as someone else said, keeps everything uniform. I look forward to seeing more in the Stansted section! 😀
Yes I’ve seen pictuees from Phuket before, looks very nice! There doesn’t appear to be a barrier or anything in the way, maybe people just don’t like the idea of jet-blast!
All very nice! How about a Ryanair 757?:D
Very nice pics! And you were lucky to get the beacon on the Excel! 😀
All very nice! Especially the 1st and 3rd ones, love ’em all!:D Their new livery seriously needs to be re-thought. What does Bmused think? Do you think you’d have gone for one of the actual chosen designs?
A similar thing has happened here down at Stansted. This car park was owned by the Bishop’s Stortford Football Club, who’s stadium is only a mile or so from the terminal. They provided un-official airport parking, and used minibuses to take passengers down to the terminal. The council has since told them that they need to stop this operation, however the football club relies heavily on the money it gets from the car park, and the club may actually have to close down becuase of this. Quite sad, considering how well the club have been doing lately.
Very nice! There are a few places that I have promised myself I will go to when I’m older and can afford it! This is one of them, along with SXM and St Barths.
