Yes I believe that closes once the APU is turned off, you usually see them one pictures of taxiing aircraft. I take it the APU is turned off sometime before departure.

😮 Wow! Very nice picture! One of the best I’ve seen in a while, shame it couldn’t be a 777 😀

Yes it really annoys me with all this manufactured pop that seems to be hitting the UK like the black death did. It’s contagious with all these children and people trying to get in with the crowd! It also annoys me when bands like Busted call themselves ‘rock’. I like to class them as just another pop boy-band, they are a group of boys and all there songs are the same! But apparently they’re not

I like to buy my albums from websites such as play.com, cd-wow.com and cd-jungle.com. They are around £8.99 on average, with free p&p, which is much better from the shops. But still, unless it is one of my favourite bands or an album that I really want, I will just download it on kazaa because it is still too expensive! Does anyone know what the situation is with downloading songs on kazaa these days, becuase I have heard so many different stories? Some people say that there is a law which means they can’t fine you, others say stop downloading now becuase people in the UK are too going to be fined before long.

Rock rules! I’m sitting here patiently for the day when the ‘crowd’ follow rock, instead of RnB. But I can’t see this happening too soon. Does anyone else here like bands such as Feeder, RHCP, The Coper Temple Clause and Placebo? Feeder are my favourite band, seeing them live in December was just absolutley brilliant! I’ve also begun to like some Punk bands, and Ska can alos be fun! There is a local music hall for rock and punk bands here, where I spend a lot of my Saturday evenings. Some bands like Inme and Rancid originally played here, and now they’re doing quite well. It’s also good to follow small bands like this I think as they tend to be a lot better than some of the more popular bands that you already know! You also can’t beat a bit of more ‘classic’ rock, like Queens of the Stone Age and Iron Maiden.

That KLM shot is brilliant! Lots of debris being thrown up by the looks of things.

Wow! When did you get that offer? I have seen flights for 50p but then about £10 of tax added on top, but never an offer for that price!

Yeah good site mate, looks pretty good. The thing is just updating it, it seems a bit pointless and tedious after a while, especially if you’re not getting many visitors.

Excellent pics Andy! You were also quite lucky to get that Qantas 747 right up near to the fence, whenever I go it is always the same old BA 747.

Do you think they would have had to check for any internal damage to the landing gear after this incident? Becuase I was thinking, presuming no-one else saw it then couldn’t it be a danger?
