Are they not calling Ballaton, Budapest-Ballaton? If there is only a few hundred miles between the two, it won’t be a problem.
Woah, original.
The blur has come where the shutter speed is too low. Find out if there is a function on the camera where you can control the shutter speeds manually. For fast moving aircraft on approach, I’d recommend a shutter speed of atleast 1/250-1/400 (depending on how steady your hand is).
I just recently had a nuvax ( anti pneumonia injection ) it was the biggest thickest needle i’ve ever seen in my life, and they inject it straight into the muscle……hurt…..words can’t describe it!!!!!
I wouldn’t be sacred of the needle, could be any size for all I care. But as soon as it’s been in my skin, it’s a matter of minutes before I black-out.

Does anyone have any plans of where to go at DUB? I’ve been a few times but never really spent much time there, so I have no idea where the best spotting spots are!
The best spot by far is alongside the threshold to RWY28, on a mound facing the terminal. It’s about a 20 minute walk from the terminal, I’ll post directions for those who do not know a bit nearer the time.
Some of these shots are’nt thebest quality because they’re with my old camera, but it gives you an idea of the views available.
I jsut made No.5 of most popular pics for the last 24 hours at a-net. 😀 good enough for me.
Very nice Stefan! For the last year or so I could only ever seem to get 5th or 6th place on a.net, but then in October I got top of the day unexpectedly. So keep at it! Since then, I’ve also managed 2nd and 3rd spots. Always comes by surprise.
Hmm hard to think of mine…
I guess that after achieving top of the day on airliners.net this year, I could aim for top of the week.
The other I guess is just to take as many photos as I possibly can. That means lots of day trips, getting myself onto new aircraft types etc. Now that I’ve got my new lense I really have no excuse either.
Neither can I but then TOM from Gatwick-Perth in a 767-300 can hardly be a comfortable flight!
Try Gatwick-Sydney in an Airtours 763, which I did back in 1997!
I have a phobia of anything which involves my skin being pierced/sliced/punctured/cut/stabbed in any way. This includes injections. I do not have a phobia of blood, be it my own or someone elses.

I was somewhat surprised to MAN in there – are Ryanair planning to make a mini-base out of MAN. Then again I was when they announced BRS-SNN anyway.
Doesn’t surprise me really when you look at it. Flybe have stopped their SNN-BHX route and BA stopped the SNN-MAN route. Therefore meaning there was quite a significant gap to be filled from SNN to the North of England.
Can I ask how old everyone is on this thread and how are you all paying if you don’t mind me asking? I would like to go but no money another time maybe.

If you looked in people’s profiles you’d find most people’s ages. I’m 17, I’m paying with my part-time wages.
Will be good to meet you Lee (and Gary, when we get to find out who he is). Cheers for booking to join us, shall be a good day (apart from the almost certain freezing weather).
Great selection Tony.
Going above ISO200 on a DSLR is almost suicidal really during normal daytime photography. I would only consider ISO400 to catch something rare if I was at f7.1-8 and still getting shutter speeds under 1/100th. Aside from that, not worth it!
