Probably not worth my input because I’d be highly surrpised if anyone has heard of the band that I’d like to mention…

But they are an Orange County metalcore band called ‘Atreyu’, and the solo in their song ‘Right Side of the Bed’ sends shivers through me everytime I hear it, bringing back the memories of how it felt numerous times I’ve seen them live. Definitely my fave!

And out of the classics, I love Jimi Hendrix – Fire.

    Adam,
Firstly i didnt see the comment about leaving it running for 1/2 hour and if that really is a bolt of thunder then i am really am amazed. Could you upload the clip to a site?

    Bolt of thunder

I guess this means one thing really, to make sure you carefully read what someone has said before jumping to conclusions.

Ahhh just back from work now, after the longest day of my life! Started the party at 1am this morning…it finished after watching sunrise. Took a long walk home about 6:30am and went to stand outside McDonalds waiting for it to open for breakfast, then went to work. I must say that drinking Stella at 6am is quite refreshing 😀

Very interesting, I love being able to freeze video shots. I used to have an air rifle, and would set up things such as beer cans at the back of my garden. I would then set up my video camera pointing at the can, and from a distance shoot the can. I could then go and put it in slow motion on my computer and watch the bullet in stages, as it entered the can, and then sparks and other bits fly out the back. All you see with the normal eye is a slight wobble as the bullet hits it.

The best thunderstorms I saw were in Cuba. Silent thuderstorms…hours and hours of lightning and it was very rare you’d ever hear any thunder to go with it.

but some of your wedding guests appear to have lost their feet?

    Hehe :p

Actually saying that, 5-day forecast isn’t looking bad! RWY05 for most of next week, which means for some slightly different angles.

Cheers, Andy and Matt. Looks like a good job I did sign the evening off on that day…weather doesn’t look like it’s gonna be upto standard for a while.

Nice stuff there. Do you know if an An124 departed EMA yesterday evening? I saw one fly over STN quite low, and got very excited thinking it may be doing some non-standard approach. Never showed up…was trying to work out where it may have took off from (was heading East).

Nice ones Andy, I’d love to see G-SHOG fly! Must be quite a sight.
