How about this for an interesting intinerary. I realise Ryanair does rapid turnarounds, but time travel?

The first flight of day originates from Stansted, lands in EIN at 0845, and then departs again at 0910.

Is Global Supply Systems part of Atlas, or something?

Quite a complicated set up. They’re based here at Stansted, and their 3 744F’s are ex-Atlas. However, their flights are ‘operated by British Airways World Cargo’ according to the titles on the fuselage.

I’ll definitely be up for it and I expect A330Crazy would be, too, but he’ll just need to confirm that. 🙂

Excellent, would be good to see you there! Now all we need is for FlyGlobespan to confirm those flights….

Peter, me and Mark are quite certain we can come on 20th. You think you’ll be around to show us what we need to know?

Allen, hopefully Globespan can get it started for the 19th. Would be good to meet you there 🙂

G-FIGP departed Prestwick this afternoon as EAF9723 destination Bournemouth for European Aviation.

Has it made itself a new life, or do you think EAL will be using it for spares?

Just looking at prices, the only feasible date for me is Saturday 20th August. If you decide on that, I’ll be there.

I would very much like to come, I’ve been waiting for an oppurtunity to head to AMS for ages. The 20th-22nd of August would be great, if it was arranged around then? I’m afraid I cant do later than that, as I’m going to Reading festival.

Lovely shots, not sure if it’s been mentioned but G-FIGP is now registered with EAL. Hopefully, this means that we could see some more life out of this bird 😀

However, I suppose it could mean that it’s just being taken over for spares, for the rest of EAL’s 732 fleet.

Thanks a lot everyone, it realy is appreciated! Now that the weather is on a good turn I’ll try to be up there when I can to catch what’s around.

Dan what kind of camera is that you use?

    Minolta Z10 🙂

Do Jet2 fly to STN or was that on cargo duty???

They operate on Channex passenger charters.

You always get such interesting stuff at STN! Everyone thinks its wall to wall FRS, you get DC8s, 747s and god knows what else!

Ha ha you try backing me up on that point when I so often have to argue it!

Superb shots as ever mate, saw that Land Rover Fokker at LBA last summer, isnt it Blueline not Blueberry?

Oops! That’s the one…didn’t think it sounded quite right :p

    Thanks everyone, greatly appreciated 😀

Steve, Fordair are part of the Ford motor company. As far as I can find out, they operate 2 737-700’s (VP-BBT and BBU), 1 Gulfstream V (N300K) and a 737-200 (HZ-MIS). I’m sure Mark L will be able to provide more information on this. They mainly operate the aircraft on staff shuttles between the main headquarters. The 737-700’s are used regularly at STN (atleast 2-3 daily flights) shuttling staff btween the base at Stansted and Cologne.
