    March 1995

Aged 7 years old, LGW-MCO Air Uk Leisure 767.

I went up to visit the cockpit…happened to be the same day I decided I wanted to be an airline pilot 🙂

I can remember the very moment, walking down the aisle back to our seats.

Me: “I want to be a pilot when I’m big”
Dad: “Yes” (whilst he sits there thinking, “he’ll wanna be a hairdresser by next week”)

Ah, they are no longer listing DSA-STN as Shamrock has said, dont see why it would be ‘far too short’ though, they operate BLK-STN.

    I agree, and STN-NQY.

Website is a lot more appealing now, and much more ‘friendly’ when browsing it.

Haha great photos, like the SAS one. Reminds me very much of one I took from that same position…

EK, you say the 767 was ‘economy but felt like first class’. That good? Mind you, I suppose the transatlantic 767’s will be kitted out better than the intercontinental ones….

Thanks very much for the information so far! Looking forward to the 777 flights even more now! Yup I was thinking that the intercontinental flights may not be brilliant, similar to when I flew Delta a couple of years back. I’m hoping they aren’t packed though. DL 767 from ATL-MIA wasn’t the best experience and that was only 2 hours. Completely full, stuck in the middle surrounded by American business men/women in a fluster with all their important work.

If that’s anything to go by on the AA flights, then I’ll just use the oppurtunity to stick my headphones on and revise for my Spanish oral exams I have coming up next month. Shame about no meal service on intercontinental, but I’ll just take as much advantage as I can with the complimentary drinks.

Ah yes! Forgot a couple. How about JFK and LAX? I have a couple of hours stopover at each of them and will most likely be staying airside. Can I get anywhere good to do a little spotting airside, and what are the airports like in general?
