The only shot worth uploading from BHX was this. It was pitch black, and it seemed as though Mark and I were the only 2 people crazy enough to stand around waiting for one plane to take off, in what must have been minus temperatures (as can be seen by the empty viewing area). This was a 10 second exposure of the PIA A310 taking off, you can see the path it traces across the sky and also the lighting sequence.

Hmm, the compression isn’t doing them much justification. Ah well, LHR cont’d…On the last 3 shots, firstly we see a slightly messed up BA tail (G-CPEL), and second is a nice close-up on the SAA landing gear and tail.
