Excellent news, another option for many of us South-England spotters to get to MAN! Hopefully this might also force down Eastern Airway’s pices on the STN route. I can see myself booking myself on to one of these Jet2 flights some time in the near future….

Pretty much definite 738’s both ways unfortunately. I know the 1055 flight wont be as I very rarely see 732’s over my school in the mornings now, the only one being FR205 to DUB at 0815 (which I booked myself on last night! 😀 ). And as for the return flight, the BAA timetable has scheduled a 738 so this is quite probably correct.

Ah excellent, this is really coming together with much more interested than I originally thought! Looking forward to it now, and to hearing from the others if they can go 😀

Well, I’m booked! Flying out on the 16th at 0815, arrive in DUB at 0925 where I hope to meet some of you. Shall then spend the day photographing/spotting, then I leave DUB at 1835 for the homeward flight. Look forward to meeting some of you! 😀

Allen, if the price is right…I wouldn’t mind tagging along for this trip!

Wahay, looks like it could be coming together! Andy (A330Crazy) has experienced interest too, looks like he could be coming over on Aer Lingus from LHR. I’ll be getting the 0925 arrival into DUB, more than likely catching the 1700 flight home. Gives me atleast 3-4 hours to leave the terminal and go in search of some photography with the rest of you 😀

Sounds great, let me know if it’s a definite and I’ll book (wont be staying the night of course, but would rather not spend the day by myself!)

The main US traffic leaves early or mid morning. You’ll get departing Aer Lingus A330’s before noon generally ?

There’s a good mix of European scheduled and cargo operators. Generally speaking it’s 90% Aer Lingus, Ryanair and Aer Arran Express.

I’ll check my diary, could use a meet in DUB not too mention a wee stroll through Temple Bar. 🙂 😀

It would be excellent if you were available, get back to me asap and I can try and go ahead to book 😀

Well my main aim of the trip would be to get on the 732, although it’d also be nice to spend a few hours catching some of the traffic (Aer Lingus A330’s would be nice). There must surely be some stuff worth going for and photographing, other than the flight?
