I am definitly going to visit BHX next summer, hoping my next visit to MAN will be in the October holidays and then the 26th of November 🙂

Are we still up for meeting briefly on the 26th? I think if you try and get to somewhere like level 13 on the car park for the time that our flight arrives, then we can come up and meet you for a short while? Shame we wont be able to stick around for much longer, but need to get down to BHX!

Ahah, quite funny. Trying to start the engine by the looks of things…..injected too much fuel. Happens quite often…quite a shock if the passengers are on-board though 😀

STN-PIK rtn £13 (+ about £4 for credit card fee) last December. Was a certain deal on Ryanair, just for one day, where they were offering flights for a penny and then offering to pay half your tax or something like that.

Also flew Malaysia Airlines on Fokker 50/737 on a short 20 minute flight across Borneo for around £20rtn. Mainly due to the extremely low cost of living out there.

And as to being disappointed when you end up on the same plane twice…yep I get that too. Was very annoyed when I ended up on Qantas 744 VH-OJB, both ways between Frankfurt and Singapore a few months ago! Wouldn’t have minded if it was still in it’s Wanula dreaming cs….but it had been taken out of them prior to that.

I log mine in the back of my reggie book. I have all of the reg’s of all the planes I’ve flown on in last 2 years or so since I started logging them (27 reggies altogether). Managed to pick up a few others from longer ago, by going through the family photo albums for those last minute snaps of the plane, before heading home just to finish up the film. Also got a few from airport movement archives.
