A few of mine…..Sandy’s fav plane, in his fav scheme 😀
Thanks very much Airbusbaby, looking forward to it. 🙂 Even more so if I get an ERJ! 😀

Airbusbaby, you seem to know what you’re talking about very well!
I’m flying BD on the LHR-MAN route in late november with Mark L. We’re flying LHR-MAN on Fri 26th Nov, flight 588 leaving at 12:40pm. Returning on Sun 28th Nov, flight 589 leaving at 14:30pm.
Would you possibly know a)What plane(s) I can expect to travel, and b)What service we should get (free drink and biscuits I’m guessing?)

MAN, BHX, and EMA all have very good shops, although the BHX one is the best IMHO. Looking forward to going up there next month 😀
Me too, funnily enough 😀 😉

I did 2 go arounds at Newark a couple of weeks ago due firstly to a Fedex 727 that was cleared line up and immediate departure before then sitting stationary on the runway and then on the next approach attrocious air traffic controlling vectored me to 4 mile final at 2500 feet before asking if I could get in visually from that position
Did you have passengers on-board, or was it solely a training flight? If you did have passengers, must have been quite hard to explain to them the second time round?!

NEwones are nicer…and safer!
And more unreliable……My dad being a recovery driver has never picked up a classic mini. He has to deal with the new ones daily, yet they are 10 years or more newer.
Nice one 😀
My dream would be one done up as the red one from The Italian Job :diablo:
Well my dad’s got the blue one, I have the red one. Anyone lend us a white one? 😀
Yeah I knew about that. Obviously the front window-screen isn’t tinted (that’d just be stupid!). The front windows have a semi-tint, and the back is a bit darker.
Oh yeah, don’t forget the new exhaust I whacked on it today!
Well 2004 was one of the best years for me in aviation. Mainly due to my Borneo trip back in May where I had 8 flights in 12 days, flew to many airports that most people never will, and flew on airlines and planes that not many people have. Unfortunately I didn’t have my new camera before then, and so was quite restricted. They’re still memories though, and ones which I’d like to share. Shots 1-6 are with the old camera, you’ll notice a significant difference from 7-10.
1. A Malaysian ‘water village’ as seen from Malaysia Airlines 737.
2.I was particularly pleased with this shot. Mt Kinabalu is the tallest mountain in South-East Asia (around 12,000ft), 90% of the time in dense cloud. One of the only clear shots I’ve ever seen of it.
3.Lovely sunset, as seen from Australian Airlines 767 approaching SIN.
4.Onboard QF747 SIN-FRA. This other QF jet was flying SIN-CDG, and took off just before us in the queue. For about 8 hours we followed side by side.
5.Here’s my ‘local’, Stansted, from the air. As seen from MYT A320 going to Lanzarote a couple of months back.
6.A sense of the action down on the beaches of Lanzarote.
7.I wouldn’t have got this shot hadn’t it been for a request from Matthew Murray. I think I fulfilled his request though, and got a picture I’m very proud of at the same time.
8.Taken just before sunset, the perfect time for lighting the belly on aircraft.
9.Trying to find a new angle to make the 737’s a bit more interesting.
10.And finally, I loved the light reflections on this one.
