Ryanair are a disgrace to the aviation industry and an insult to all flight crews.

I know it’s already booked, but please everyone else – fly easyJet if you must fly low-cost!

Not when I booked a flight to Genova in italy last night for £23 rtn inc taxes. I was looking for a cheap day out, and I got one. Easyjet I would have been looking at £40+ to go somewhere similar.

Looks like your camera automatically set a low shuuter-speed in the bad light conditions (too dark) and therefore it took the shot slowly, allowing the plane to blur and more light to get into the lens. Try setting the shutter speed manually, and make it higher so that it freezes the plane’s movement. Either that, or wait til a sunny day!

Other than that, nice effects 🙂

This one, which I was lucky enough to fly on earlier this year (this aircraft, VH-OGI)

Do you use auto mode on your camera? Or do you set the shutter speed yourself? If you use auto, then this is likely to be the problem. On the ‘crisper’ images the camera was likely to have set a higher shutter speed, which in general freezes the picture better (although it can lead to an insrease in grain). The ‘fuzzy’ one could either be an increase in grain from the editing process, or possibly where the camera has set a lower shutter speed.

If you do set the shutter speed manually, then I wouldn’t know what the problem is

Great shots, love the formation shot of the Reds with their smoke. I was on jetphotos earlier browsing pics that had been uploaded in last 24 hours. I recognised a picture, turns out it was yours of one of the Reds. For about 2 hours we were equal with 90 views, then mine has just shot upto 283 😮

More than likely the 2 which were scrambled to Stansted for the bomb scare. I saw them flying over, too high for the reg’s though. I’ll let you know if I get them through the stansted e-mailing list.
