Prepared and cooked properly, haggis is almost a delecacy! Beautiful.
I like to try as many foods as I can no matter how ‘odd’ they are, just to experience as much of life as I can before I snuff it.
I’ve had the worm filled lollies before in Arizona, and had the worm at the bottom of a tequila (I don’t think it’s technically ‘tequila’, but it’s similar) bottle. The rest of those things seem a little bit extreme, but I’d like to think I could push myself to try them.
Bit of a catch 22: the smell and certainly the sight puts a lot of people off, but you do have to think – a lot of people eat these things already. It’s very much a mental issue that has to be overcome to eat these things.
Would Ryanair actually carry the stock onboard to feed and water everyone? I would be under the impression that they would carry a limited stock as they are not counting on the fact that everyone wants to buy something.
So unless they were to ring up ground crew to come out to the aircraft with a full passenger set of items, they may gave struggled with what they had?
I’m behind the airline on this one.
Kev, are you against all royal family, or just ours? Cause I’m guessing that it’s the same situation in other royal states. They may even take more from the state – look at the Arab royalty for example!
Also, are our armed forces not ‘His/Her Majesty’s Armed Forces’ to which they fight for ‘King and Country’ or something like that. Granted, they would still do the same duty if we weren’t a royal state, but I’m thinking they have some sense of national pride fighting on behalf of the head of state.

As a Scotsman and as a ‘non-royalist’ (I don’t dislike them, but don’t campaign for them), I would bow in that situation. The same as I would bow to most other members of royal families from other countries – as a matter of respect.
Actually, maybe not respect. Why, through being born into a ‘royal blood line’ do you automatically deserve respect? Maybe I would bow as a matter of ‘common practice’ then.
No one can say that the royals don’t do anything and that none of them don’t deserve any money. The majority of the male, British royal family have served, or are serving in the armed forces. Sacrificing their lives for their country. They deserve as much respect as anyone else in that position or even, perhaps, slightly more seeing as due to the fact that they haven’t done it/they’re not doing it for the money, they did it/they are doing it to serve their country.

Excellent pictorial, thanks for posting. I’ve never made it across the sea to Ireland and missed many an easy opportunity when I lived in the UK, so will have to make a special trip back to go one day.

It’s still early days yet, but with 5 aircraft flying and a 6th soon to join, perhaps a lot more confidence can soon be gained for the 787 from all those (not necessarily here) who doubted the technology and construction of the aircraft.
There is an ongoing programme for the reversers, yes. And it does look like this is another T/R event.
Still, this event is further testament to the overall reliability of the engines.
Doesn’t look all too different from that angle.
The first ANZ 773ER should be coming out of there in about 5 months time.
That aircraft nearly always looks good. I still think with the EZY colours it looks good, though the vertical stabilizer looks a bit….simple.
Cloud, maybe EZY are only short of flight crew at the moment?
Great! This means Airbus must be close to breaking even on the A380 programme! Oh….wait……:p
I think if the air/cabin crew catch anyone using their phone in a transmitting matter, they should be able confiscate it. Though I guess they then would be liable for any damage to it. I agree totty, if air/cabin crew ask you to do something in line with flight procedures – you do it.
Paul, I did include a link to a study on it, maybe we should all chip in to buy it together 🙂
