Nikon D5000 with Nikon 70-300 zoom. Pronair was parked up in freight area.
Drat. I had a Royal Swazi and Air Mauritanie lined up to attach but they are there already !
I’ll dig out my email I sent and PM you…
Part 2…

Parked a bit far away and didn’t taxi out 🙁

Hope you like them.
Quality. Yemenia 737 ???? Wow.
Very very good!!
Just wondering when you got your “prefecture pass” i applied about 3 months ago, got reply saying they were no longer being issued.. word of warning..dont shoot without one, though there are a few places off airport at CDG i have found that are good for finals shots.
I applied for mine last year and the pass was posted to me a few weeks later. Not sure why they have stopped issuing them. Xavier Huby was the bloke in Paris that issued them.
Nice. I remember the State of Qatar B727 at Stansted. Early 80s I think when Stansted’s terminal was just a small hut ! Parked up one Sunday evening was the Qatar B727, a Capitol DC-8, Conair B720 and a Braathens B767 !
Great shots. I have a photo pass for CDG so if it’s this good at Orly it’s well worth a trip. I remember the old terrace behind glass where the sun is on wrong side. I assume this park is on opposite side of the field ?
How about this one ? Poor scan I know (scanned at too low a dpi)…
I took this at Heathrow in 1993…
“repetitive”
When you start substantially contributing photographs, then perhaps we can trim down on others efforts……
Totally agree. What a way to spoil the fun, comments like that.
Neil, I never realised that the Trident was operated in the Air China livery, looks pretty good. Still prefer the old CAAC myself:)
Hee hee it’s exactly the same livery as now. What a great thread. Love the Trident !
Here’s a selection I took at Miami and Fort Lauderdale in March 1995…
Superb shots.
For heaven’s sake, retro SAS, retro Lingus, Delta A330 and Bahrain A319. I give up ! Nearest I’ve come to the retro SAS was it flying over the A34 on my way into work 😡
Very high quality pictures these are.
