I think I cropped the DHL a little bit to much for some sites to accept as teh angle on the aircraft just doesn’t fit the photo dimensions. shame as its rare to see a DHL in daylight!
Aye all these were with the 100-400 IS L. I also shoot with the 70-200 IS L F2.8, now thats one super sharp lens. I’d use that all the time but for these shots you need 300-400mm . Infact 400mm sometimes isn’t enough. Shooting through the fence means the “keepers” rate is very much reduced.
I might be up at MAN Sunday morn….
a couple more.

haha, I already knew? I’m not that vain 😉
Heres a couple more BA T7’s

shots are from the end of 27L with a 30D and 100-400 IS L. Some of the landing shots were with a 350D + 70-200 IS L F2.8.
I’d not noticed the “blue bit” does look dodgy but it is sky! The 3 757’s all came in one after the other!
Nice shots, I wonder why they have all the 146’s there?
you shoulda said you were coming! I was at LHR aswell! cracking shots. I’d left by the time you got there looking at what you shot. I’ll stick my pics up now!
Like the KE! nice light
Cracking shot Dan lad! worthy of #1000 and #200! Well done keep up the good work.
Cracking shots bud, super sharp..watch the jaggies :p ! Defo not swamping the forum, its good to see how different peoples cameras, eye for photo and editing techniques differ.
Looks a nice spot to shoot from, never been to NEMA.
I like the angle on the DHL A300 and First choice, nice light on the 747 Approach shot.
top shot Gaz, Glasgow shots always look good as the light is nose on straight into the engines!
Nice shots as usual, goo to see the stuff we don’t get down here
top shots, I’ve not been round for 27R as yet. Were these thru the fence?
QR for me! ace!
