09’s are the best runways, so many great places to go. I think the field you went in is too close, if you go in the field to the left of it the angles are better. 09’s is great for depature shots aswell.

Si, not a bad effort mate, far from ideal conditions for aviation photography, what did you have set up Av – 8?? Most of them are sharp, the COA looks a little blurry this is where the camera has dropped the shutter speed to achieve your F8.
One days like this mate, you just have to play with the settings, I always shoot Tv, trying to get 1/500 or faster for take offs.

Keep playing its the only way! When the nice weather comes you’ll be primed for action and get some great shots. I think this weekend looks good so get out, I’ll be at LHR!
