Nice shots from my local, bit of colour cast yellow and blue on some but never the less nicely composed.

Not been to Myrtle for over a year now! saw it was rammed on Saturday.

Get a copy of RAWshooter. Workflow wise RAW shouldn’t add much time. I can knock a photo together in 5mins using RAWshooter and CS2. Just got to practise the workflow.

I do Levels, curves and Saturation in RAWshooter, then crop and sharpen in CS2. Infact I’ve forgetten how to edit a jpg in CS2 when you mentioned the dredded Shadow / Highlight tool, use very sparringly indeed, to much highlights all the noise in the image.

Send us a RAW and I’ll have a go at one if you like

h I stood there for 2 hours waiting for the light to be right the other week. Patience is the name of the game sometimes! you get parked alright?
Weather doesn’t look great for this week either! typical! That spots going to be useless in a few weeks when it gets darker earlier!

Aye when the sun goes in the engines become black holes.

Be nice to see a wider crop on the Qatar for all 4 engines then that one would be perfect! 340’s from that spot are the best!

Metcheck is usually the best!

2 shots stand out for me, Qatar is superb and the 1st PIA.

Weather hasn’t helped you with some of those.

If you can, get the 100-400 AND 30D. I use them and they are superb. I upgraded from a 350D and 70-300 IS which was soft as up at 300mm. 400mm on my copy is tack sharp.

if I remember Zante is a “bit ” like SXM for over the beach landings. I was there about 6 years ago.
