Hi Bruce, may not have explained myself very well, we have the wings disconnected sitting flat right way up, we want to flip them so we can work on the bottom surfaces.

Regarding the tail planes, i`m pleased to say they have now been refitted, work on the Wildcat is ongoing, but there is still a lot of work to be done. As to the museum location, we are located in one of the T2 hangars at the former Maze prison, its home, but sadly it aint Langford.

Forget a heli lift, we asked the RAF to airlift our Shorts 330 when we had to move home a couple of years ago, they were all for it, if we could get the insurance cover, the only quote we could get was for a cool £25000. We moved it by road instead.

I`m fairly certain it will be just the one at Belfast zoo around about lunchtime.

I understand she is coming over to perform a flypast at the unveiling of a memorial at Belfast Zoo to the B-17 that crashed on Cave Hill during the war. This is the event that lead to the recent film being made in Belfast.

I would highly recommend cold war jets and civil aviation, I got both recently and they are very interesting and suberb quality.

The RNHF did view the aircraft as a possible source of spares, I think they where interested in the cartridge starter and the nose leg from memory. But they did not follow it up as the flights aircraft was grounded shortly after.

THe Wessex has both engines and the reduction gearbox missing unfortunatley, but on a brighter note we nave had the electrics powered up okay.
