    Sight Test Required?

    I don’t believe it was the Grace’s Spitfire as the profile wasn’t right and it didn’t sound like a merlin. That’ll teach me to keep the binos handy next time.

    Sight Test Required?

    Do I need to make an appointment for an eye test? At approximately 1.00pm today I believe I saw a glider thermaling prior to disappearing into heavy cloud over the north of Ipswich. Can’t think of where it may have come from unless taking off from Crowfield.

    Also, would I have seen P47 (Snafu) returning to Duxford after flight testing, again over the north of Ipswich, at approximately 4.00pm on Saturday 21st April?

    Noted Lightninig XS919 travelling south on the M1, round about the Lutterworth area, at approximately 2.00 pm, on the back of two “MacKenzie” low loaders.

    Still not received

    Although the latest issue has arrived in the local Ipswich Asda store I still haven’t received my issue through subscribtion!

    P51 Twighlight Tear

    Does anyone know whether the Fighter Collection’s P51 “Twighlight Tear” has returned from the states and if so, if it’s likely to take part at Flying Legends? Also, although having attended all the major shows at Duxford since last year’s Legends, I still haven’t seen the Curtiss P40B fly and again wondered if this is due to take an active roll this year.
