There hasn’t been much mention of “Angels One Five” or “Guns of Navarone” although I found these films very entertaining.
F100 & T33
I may have missed the answer on a previous thread but where are the T33 and F100 destin to go and when?
I have to agree with Black Knight, comment 11, inasmuch as I believe Warbirds Worldwide covered the rebuild of warbirds in a more in-depth fashion,
something that seems to be glossed over now with Flypast and Aeroplane.
Biggin Tickets
Hi Any body any ideals about getting tickets for this event ? They was a web site called Biggin 75 but its not worked in over aweek.
Accordinging to their web site this is completely sold out (18,000) and you can’t purchase tickets on the day. However, I did notice someone that was selling tickets on the Biggin Facebook page.
Duxford’s B17
I may have missed this in a previous thread but does anyone know why the B17 is still missing its nose turret fairing since its refurb? Also, it seems naked without the famous nose art american aircraft were famous for during the war.
Mustangs on the move
Hardwick Mustangs (I presume) flying over Ipswich in a south westerly direction at 2.40pm.
[QUOTE=hawker1966;2160964]Hi Rocketeer
Just came across this post as i have acquired a few relic boards from the Blake Hall Museum, and would be very interested to see some photos if you still have them.
Also does anyone know if the Debach Museum is still open
Debach Museum is definitely open and thriving as I was there last week. They have a strong team, led by Richard Taylor, who meet weekly on a Wednesday. The team have achieved a great deal in the last 10 years and is well worth a visit. Check out their website.
Saturday’s Display
Wow….
Well done DCW, your photos of the two Lancs at Old Warden sum up what it’s all about. Absolutely superb.
EP120
I must be getting old – I still think of that as a fairly recent restoration, as I clearly remember EP120 on the gate at Church Fenton! (is that where I saw it?)
I believe EP120 was based at RAF Wattisham for a while and think I had my photograph taken in her at an “Open Day”. Probably early 70’s and the aircraft was affectionly know as the “Concrete Spitfire”.
Is it me or have all the prices gone up? A programme for the event was £7 and the Flight Line walk was £6 (and hardly a “Legends” line up). There seemed to be a reasonable crowd on Sunday but that might have been that many stayed away on Saturday due to the bad weather. Having said all that, I thought the show was an excellent day especially the displays by the Typhoon, Apache and Spitfire chase.

Dear Santa,
Please provide the financial support to enable all owners of vintage aircraft to continue to display their aircraft for the benefit of others.

Spitfire over Felixstowe
An unknown Spitfire was displaying over the Felixstowe/Harwich area today at about 3.00pm. Can anyone identify which Spit this was?
A lovely Jubilee Air Show – 27 May
Dear Pen Pusher,
Love the Meteor shot. That could grace any magazine cover. I note your camera details but what computer programme do you use to edit your shots?
Regards,
Greshams
