    Pablo Mason

2 hawks from brawdy had a mid air collision, one had a damaged wing and landed safely, the other lost all the nose fwd of the windscreen, including noseleg.
it still flew ok, but there were concerns about the front crew member, during the landing, so he was told to eject. after he was gone the handling became quite unstable, with the CofG so far aft, that the instructor had to get out as well.
there used to be a blurry picture of it kicking round in the circuit, with no nose. (the popular grafitti at the time was to draw a pair of feet sticking out!)

I believe the pilot was Sdn Ldr Pablo Mason. He mentions the incident in his book ‘Pablo’s War’

    Don’t forget the Brits

The USN didn’t like it & stuck with the F6F…. but the RN ironed out the bugs … after which the USN changed their minds 😀

No, just bear with it. eMule is generally slow to start. If a few more people joined in you’d soon have more sources though !

Archer is correct. You need to install eMule and then either search for the file, or preferably enter the ed2k link I posted into your ‘Direct Download’ box on the search page.

Archer, you’re the only one in the queue so far 😮
