for a relatively complete JP – try “oBoy” – 110466735821
The Auction is over, but it may still be there.
I have no knowledge of nor connection to the seller
It looks like a “Rothmans” advert to me 🙂
Jim,
I checked your PDF file, some of the JP’s are “registered” to the wrong aerobatic group. Linton GIN was there & 5 of the JP’s were flown by them.
The day after the show, on their way home, Linton GIN did a “mixed loop” with Les Diables Rouges.
Here’s a small picture of them together.

I’ve put all the Info that I have on the following webpage => http://www.linton-gin.com/gaydon_69.html
If anyone out there has more info on the show, ( program scans, photos of Linton GIN / the mixed loop etc etc ) I’d be interested in seeing them.
All the Best
Steve
there’s a bit more Info here …..
Including a photo of the actual Camera used to take the picture & possibly a few new leads…

Guys,
I’ve just been sent this photo.

It was taken by Michael Ainslie ( Blades ’73 Ground Crew ) on a flight to a French Airshow in 1973.
I’ve collected some Info about the 31 ship JP flypast.
All I know is posted here => http://www.a-k-d.com/provost/EIIR/EIIR.html
If anyone can provide more info ( especially the about the 2 FTS – Syerston 3 FTS – Leeming & 6 FTS – Acklington based planes / pilots ) I’d love to hear from them.

…. The windscreen panels I no longer have weren’t Javelin, ………………
Thanks for checking anyway Ian. I guess I’ll have to try my luck at bending some Perspex with the hot air gun. I’ll be using something a bit thinner than original. Mine will ( unfortunately ) never be airborne, so a couple of millimetres will do instead on that 3/4 inch thick stuff they originally used.
Would be great if you could show some pics of the bang seat.
Regards, from germany
Here are a couple of the Ebay pics.

The seat is still in the UK at a relatives.
Guys,
I’m doing a Javelin interior ( front section only )
I’ve found some great parts through the forum here. Thank you guys.
I managed to pick up a MK3J Bang Seat last week ( pretty empty though )
However, what I’m really after is a Control Column ( I have a stick top ) & some pedals.
Are there any out there ?
…. What is a Classic Mini – is that the old one from the 1960’s….
Basically yes. Any mini made by Austin or Morris etc. Not a BMW mini from 2000 onwards.
I took that picture in 1941 :stupid:
Here’s the original, the colour version has been photoshopped

Dang … I forgot the tyre track under the fuselage roundel :apologetic:
Happy Xmas one & all
It looks pretty similar to a Mini Exhaust mounting rubber.

There’s a whole range of sizes here => http://www.vibration-mounts.co.uk/ShowCategory.php?CategoryID=CYLINDRICAL-BOBBINS-13
Looks like the switch you need might be available from here (mid way down in the middle): –
guys,
That switch was also used in Javelins, as a relight switch built into the HP c0ck levers.

I’m looking for 2 ! but obviously not prepared to pay those kind of prices 🙁
It’s a tough world …..Bl**dy Spitfires driving the price up for us jet fans.
That’s nothing I have found a Cookie on my Computer
Thank you ! That made me laugh.
Hi Robert,
… have a few from an air show at HmS Condor during the 1960’s, probably 1966-67. Jet Provosts in formation………..
Regards,
Ron
Ron,
I’d be very interested in your JP photos. I have a small website covering the Linton JP teams of that era.
It’s possible you have pics of the team from one of these 2 shows
http://www.linton-gin.com/arbroath_66.html
or
http://www.linton-gin.com/arbroath_67.html
HMS Condor/Arbroath was a regular event for the team in their early years. They flew there in ’61, ’63, & ’65 – ’69.
Feel free to E-mail me via my website.
All the Best
Steve
