That one is Bolivian. The “black” stripe on the tail flag is actually dark green.

Thanks! Changed as noted. Also, see attached Niger Reims Cessna 337. (Seems like a lot of the African 337s had this same basics color scheme- Senegal, Chad, Mauritania, Upper Volta, Niger, for instance.) See as well attached Cuban MiG-15UTI with unusual fuselage markings, and Iraqi Mi-4.

It’s more than one year ago, that South Sudan became independent !

    and, already in Jan’ 2011, gkozak wrote (in thread # 14 p 3 post # 78) :

” I’m anxious to see some combat aircraft sporting their new roundel. “

this view is well known by everyone :

But, till now I’ve never seen THE official roundel of their Air force !!

    Can you tell me ?

    friendly yours,

    ETIENNE

Greetings, Etienne! Aircraft of South Sudan use the national flag as a fin marking; see attached Beech 1900 picture. See also a better closeup of one of their Mi-17V5s, with a clear view of the fin marking. If you look closely at the picture of the Mi-17s in flight, you can see it on the tail fin as well.

    (can someone confirm this info?)

See attached from Barbados. The C-23 is from Barbados, and serves with the Caribbean Regional Defense Force, a regional collective security force comprising several Caribbean nations. It is focused largely on detection and interdiction of drug smugglers. The Queen Air was leased from Barclays Bank for a short time. They did use (still?) a Cessna 402C, but not this one. I will scan and post the picture.

It’s ex-Indian Mi-8T and it was indeed used in Maledives.

Wow- ok! I looked up the registration number, and saw that it was Indian, and left it at that. But it’s actually Maldivian, after all- fantastic! Thanks much, MSphere!
