Djibouti Noratlas Old Roundel
Here’s a Noratlas from Djibouti, with the old segmented roundel. I never knew they had this marking.

Thanks. Hadn’t see it. Wish I had. Would have saved all the trouble of looking for it in other places. And, by the way, a few Bosnia and Bosnia-Herzegovina photos. The Bosnian Mi-8 proudly resplendent in the national flag is from http://www.defence.pk/forums/military-photos-multimedia/63414-bosnian-muslim-army.html, and the Bosnia-Herzegovina Mi-8 and UH-1D are from http://www.fortunecity.com/oasis/tropicana/533/military6.html.
Rwandan Mi-8
A good picture of a Rwandan Mi-8, sporting the new flag/national insignia. Love the color scheme. From http://www.flickr.com/photos/36281822@N08/3723047585; in the U.S. Army Africa and Darfur Support Rwanda 090114 photostreams. Also featured in the article “Darfur support, U.S. Army Africa, Kigali, Rwanda 090114”. U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Brian Ruse and 1st Lt. Charlie Jones, United States Army Africa.
Not Necessarily a Problem
..which have all based their profiles on this very decal sheet you want to use. Sorry guy but so far no single piece of photographic evidence for this machine has appeared.
Lack of photographic evidence does not, however, eliminate the possibility that the aircraft in question actually existed. And at that, it’s not like national security depends on construction of a totally accurate model airplane.
Tanzanian MiG-15UTI
Hi Everybody!
Anybody have pictures of the Tanzanian MiGs? Specially the MiG-15UTI. I have a model decal for this plane, but there is nothing information from the plane, and the colours…
If somebody has photos, please share it/them.
Thanks!
Good weekend to everybody!
Alex
Looks like you’re going to build the same model I plan to build! I have attached some images for you. The first is from ACIG, the Air Combat Information Group, the second is from Americo Maia, and the third from Claveworks Graphics.
Ecuador Nanchang BT-6
Message for gkozak… there are 2 BT6 with equador, they were a gift from the chinese. Was wondering where you got the picture from,

Forgot to note the source- it’s at http://www.militar.org.ua/foro/fuerzas-armadas-del-ecuador-t14154-11445.html.
I’ve attached an Argentinian Broussard (didn’t know they operated that type), and a Bosnian Gazelle.
Mi-4s
Sanyi, here are a few- Indonesian Army, Nepal, North Yemen. I’m interested in what others will post!
Rare, Unusual, and Wonderful
Here’s a find- a Dhruv from the Maldives; from http://www.defence.pk. How about that color scheme! I feel yet another model coming on. I hope somebody makes a kit of this one…
I threw in a Greek (Hellenic, I mean) Army Aero Commander, too, just for the heck of it.
Sri Lankan Bell 47
I was not aware that they used this one, but, then again, almost everybody has.
Very Interesting!
South Korean An-2 http://www.airliners.net/photo/South-Korea–/Antonov-An-2/1785406/L/ 😮
According to Wikipedia the RoKAF operates ten An-2s for special operations. First time I heard about them. Does anybody know how they got them? Are they defected from their neighbours up north?
I had no idea- thanks! When you think about it, the An-2 is an outstanding choice: cheap, rugged, dependable, proven, STOL, spare parts available all over the place. That plane has seen service across the globe for years, and has probably performed almost every function you could think of for an aircraft.
Sudanese Jet Provost
A Sudanese Jet Provost with early Sudanese markings. And thanks for the photos from Chile, Pilan56- they are beautiful!
