G’day again James,

my interest in Pat Hughes is twofold,firstly he is Australian and secondly,I like to build 1/48 scale models of well known and not so famous fighter pilots.I started out just doing Mustang aces of the USAAF but now I like to build all nationalities,mainly WW2 though I’m venturing into WW1,Spanish Civil War,Korea and Vietnam.I would love to build the Spitfire I have in honour of a brave Australian.

I have always had an interest in aces and aviation ever since I was a kid,my dad had a book by Christopher Shores called simply,”Fighter Aces” (in fact i still have it 30 years on).I have just about read the words off it !!:D
