1. Irresponsible journalism
Appeared in a ‘Freebie’ paper read by all commuters in and out of London.
Some of these commuters may not make Christmas never mind spending £7,100 each in a few hours on booze, what of their feelings when they read this?
Would some extreme radicals after reading it get feelings of such hate that similarly contributed to some of attitudes that manifested in recent London riots

2. Yes it was a massive PR exercise hence the publication of it in the Tatler, Horse and Hound, High Society and other similar high society journals would have been more appropriate. (after all the average rail commuter unless in First Class accommodation was unlikely to be frequenting the club)

3. Yes not all businesses are doing badly, but I am almost sure the owner of the Hedge Fund business did not start with a golden spoon in his mouth. Therefore he would have been better to encourage those extremely young looking staff (in photo) of his to invest most of the amount spent that evening as HMRC only allow companies relief for £12.50 per employee on annual company dos.

4. Hedge Funds for one help airlines and many multi national businesses to weather foreign exchange currency fluctuations by strategic investments when rates are bearable.

5. I think what was also unhealthy was the referral to these people as bankers while in the same article it indicated Barclays approach to similar excesses. Yes there are some banks trying to avoid the ‘splurge’ in public.

6. I have personally worked in fund investment/management and sure every employee’s birthday even with a very large workforce was cases of champagne but consumed in house and it wasn’t made part of our marketing or PR. Not during an economic recession I may add.

I always bow to your freindship, skills and knowledge but what preceded the pitots icing up was the weather radar being sent to low threshold sensitivity hence unlike many other aircraft in the vicinity AF447 flew through a mild storm but not seeing the monster storm behind the mild storm, they flew straight into their deaths.

I have gone over it over and over again and it seems to have been the start of those poor souls fatal problems.

I have many Scots friends, business colleagues and am also aware of the number of Anglo-Scots marriages and relationships that are surviving, why suddenly this severe push to be primarily anti English?

Scots have excellent brains especially scientific and technical ones and could be providing a powerhouse in UK development. I shall ignore the lack of brains in the 2 banks and the former prime minister and his chancellor.

Why also the direct discrimination towards English and Welsh trying to study forward of now in Scottish Universities with respect to astronomical fees?

Having lived there I can happily say that some of them are simply ultra right disguised as ‘sheep’. They are welcoming non EU labour to sort out care home staffing issues with false promises of visa extensions, and also non EU students in universities to grab the fees.

This is not a simple fight for independence it is a pure power trip by a few individuals with brains similar to fish.

No one denies living costs in Scotland due to extreme and sometimes longer winters is something Westminster must accept and a enhanced pay structure (similar to London weighting) should be agreed upon speedily and also this extreme weather puts a heavier burden on health care costs. By changing taxation purely in Scotland it causes havoc of a scale unimaginable in UK HMRC and NI.

Not sure if the oil belongs to Scotland or will the esteemed loud mouth First Minister take over or take on the large oil giants as well. I am not aware that they are all registered as Scottish companies.

I am also unsure about 40 years for oil (maybe gas but the oil peaked some time back) and future rigs will be outside Scottish waters.

I think the revenue may have to be based on Heather, Salmon, Whisky (many are foreign owned now) and hot air from the SNP.

I hate to think what the civil service budget will be to administer a variance in NI for Scotland and unique taxation for persons and companies.

There is so much in the way of real ‘brains’ in Scotlands’ literate population and how they can have permitted the election result baffles me after the scandal of the Scottish banks was public long before the last election result.

Does that mean Scotland will be along with it’s two main banks remain a huge debtor of the rest of the rest of UKs’ taxpayers while happily removing the Blue from the Union flag? Or has Mr Salmond a plan to pay the rest of the UK back on behalf of RBS and BofS billions?

I still keep a copy of the St James version of the Holy Bible on my bedside cabinet in hope though.
