It is worse when two go together

It is worse when two go together.

I know about tight small communities and how it hits when someone is lost tragically, the pain is indescribable.

Ralph – my thoughts are with you all.

Boeing 787 Dreamliner finishes certification testing – RR engines

Boeing 787 Dreamliner finishes certification testing (Video)

    http://www.boeing.com/Features/2011/…_08_16_11.html

“In every case, the airplane has achieved everything that we desired.” Mike Sinnett, 787 Chief Project Engineer

“To look at all those features working seamlessly and you understand all the work it took to get there, you’re just so proud of the tenaciousness of the team that put it together.” Capt. Mike Carriker, 787 Chief Pilot

To date, the 787 test fleet has flown just over 1,700 flights, racked up more than 4800 flight hours and performed more than 25,000 test conditions.

The flight marked the completion of flight tests required for type certification of the 787 Dreamliner with Rolls-Royce engines.

Flight testing continues for 787s with GE engines and for Boeing test points not related to certification.

    Great Video – Thanks

    Great Video – Thanks

    Great restoration work too.

Interesting in the video to note that the propeller repeatedly showed up some interesting images during take off and in flight. Hard for me to describe but it may have something to do with the speed of the capture of the video image and the actual rpm of the propeller.

I am surprised too about it being a 757 and not a more modern airliner

Seems a heck of a lot of Gold Plate to go in a dated aircraft albeit sounds like an upgraded flight deck.

He isn’t a young man so I guess the interior style goes with his vintage.

The other thing that surprised me was that he hasn’t gone for a big beast like some of the Oil moguls have which includes carrying the luxury limo as well.

It’s the damn sensational journalism striking again …

It’s the damn sensational journalism striking again …

Today’s papers are slowly revealing the entire story with the fuller facts.

    Summing it up –
It appears that the irate passenger who rang the French media initially suggested the actor Depardieu was inebriated which he clearly wasn’t.
Depardieu had repeatedly asked to go to the toilet.
Depardieu was repeatedly refused permission by the flight attendants.
Depardieu then was handed an empty bottle of Evian by his actor friend which overflowed when he used it.
Depardieu offered to clean up the mess.
Depardieu has problems with his prostate gland. Anyone in the medical know or having the misfortune to suffer with similar prostate problems will know that when a “Man’s got to go, a man’s got to go”.
Depardieu does not behave like this usually

The press as usual made sensational news of it initially, the airline reacted by the book and now we have at least a reasonable explanation.

It could happen to the best in similar medical circumstances.
