Good news and nice to see you back with your dream – aviation

Good news and nice to see you back with your dream – aviation.;)

I share your cynicism about the likely delays the A350 may hit. Staying with the record of the delays to the ‘plastic pig’.

I have no up to date news as to the plans for the RR XWB engine which strong rumour flew into the Paris Air Show about major changes to the XWB.

Do you have any recent news Threespool?

Stopped Now is what I would say should be our resolve

Stopped Now is what I would say should be our resolve.

An emergency resolution should be passed when Parliament reconvenes in less than 24 hours and woe be unto lefties and liberals who sit on the fence pandering to people committing civil disturbances.

IMO the entire parliament had better recognise this is nearing civil war except at present it is one sided but it will not go for long before some wealthy head case replies with a ‘broadside’ against the rioters/looters and then all out carnage
    .
Was it not just a few days ago a Dragon had openly Tweeted that he would pay an extra enhanced ransom for anyone identifying and breaking the arms of the person who threatened his daughter?

Often IMO it’s sheer wealth and it’s misuse that can escalate a war like situation.

This is a serious business, Jay.

It’s real life, not a TV comedy series.

Hi Lance – my appreciation of Dad’s Army was so that I illustrated the tenacity of Capt. Mannering and his band – much as Aunty Beeb often portrayed them as bumbling old fools.

On the contrary in the same post I continued to suggest that local neighbourhood groups (not evil vigilantes) with all the modern communication devices available to them care for their neighbourhood by primarily monitoring the movements of gatherings of youth and especially minors.

Also like in times of flood or heavy snow keeping an eye on the homes of the vulnerable ie elderly, reduced mobility, etc will be something that every neighbourhood should be happy to engage in without invading others privacy.

This present situation is far from any comedy and I am solidly behind the emergency services who are risking their lives for the sake of democracy and all of those of us who abide within it’s laws.

Kev35 – Please have a safe and restful night with your dad and uncle

    Kev35 –

Please have a safe and restful night with your dad and uncle.
You are indeed a committed human and to be admired. I am sure all on this forum wish you a safe and restful night along with your father and uncle.

Nor is there anyone on this forum who wishes to see this mayhem continue. No one least of all the country can afford it.

    Kind regards
    Jay

No we ain’t – Frazer was deliberately made out to be the ever pessimistic undertaker

No we ain’t (by a long shot) – Frazer was deliberately made out to be the ever pessimistic Scots undertaker.

One of my favourite comedy series Dad’s Army.:D

It may take the modern day equivalent of the ‘old’ ‘Home Guard’ in every neighbourhood (not evil vigilante groups) to positively support the emergency services in ensuring that young aimless youth are safely monitored. (‘gated’ if minors) and not adding support to rioting mobs.

And greedy pubs and clubs to not serve irresponsible individuals (they can under licensing laws refuse to serve anyone if thought to be incapable of handling drink or are already too inebriated)

Right much younger than me Threespool keep your head down and complete your flying

Right much younger than me Threespool keep your head down and complete your flying, you may be needed sooner than you think in the RH seat, to transport lunatics like those two numpty females on the BBC report to offshore UK controlled islands/disused oil rigs where they can abide peacefully or die trying to swim to escape.:D

For my sins until I get a non student job (post recent graduation) I am stuck with many work colleagues (mainly young males and females) who have similar thoughts of being stoned drunk every night as being the norm.
I am not saying these work colleagues loot the shops for the drink/soft drugs but it’s the same attitude “‘bu.ger’ society we are doing what we like”.

Ofcourse the ‘oldies’ at work will keep the place ticking over so we can earn even more to spend on excesses.

Criminals get options – well yes – clean up or clean or leave if not a UK citizen

Criminals get options:rolleyes: – well yes – clean up or clean up or leave if not a UK citizen.

To commit these anti social crimes – these thugs minors or adults take temporary leave of their senses – how on earth can they make sensible choices?

Simple – if (non UK citizen) asylum seekers – send back entire family as the adults have failed to manage their minors (reasons are irrelevant).
    – if EU citizens (non UK citizens) send them back and let their parent EU country sort them out as to being responsible and worthy of EU cross border privileges.
    – if UK citizens, then it’s “clean up and restore brigade” under strict supervision in the area they destroyed.

Borstals run with money form JSA possibly but who administers these establishments?

Borstals run with money form forfeited JSA possibly but who administers these establishments?
More idiots (surely) who will permit so much PC within them that they become organised ‘taxpayer’ funded places of grouping young villains.
They emerge even more knowledgeable in anti social aspects
I like your last suggestion – send the asylum seekers parents and all back to their country.:)
Certainly do not export the local thugs though, make them clean up and rebuild the communities they have destroyed (just short of chain gangs of old in the US)
