I would hardly say Argentina is under the yoke of the Americans. They’d be keeping quiet about Falklands if that was the case.

Buying Su-35s and Anteii-2500s is another story, but who knows. Brazil has bought hardly anything Russian, and recently we have seen quite a few developments on that front.
I think Russia would offer credit in an attractive deal, since Rosoboronexport is making an effort to expand its presence in the Latin American market.

Yup that is true. Maybe things are changing down there. Just for clarification, I think there is nothing wrong with Russian hardware. And that could get them out from the yoke of the americans.
