They said on the radio news broadcast in my car this evening that the plane was at 10,000 ft????
Am I correct in saying that Air Slovakia are starting a service to BHX this summer? The only UK air link to Bratislava.
My vote goes to the new TUI/Britannia livery. Quite bland and to get rid of the previous Britannia livery has to be one of the worst aviation industry scandals of late.
Our trip to Hamburg Lubeck on Saturday has been cancelled.
We now can’t do the daytrip because FR have decided to move the return flight dep time from 1930 to 1430!! Good old Ryanair!
There were 4 cabin crew on last night’s FR Malmo to Stansted flight. Most of there flights are full. Monarch have 5 cabin staff on an A320 and that only carries 180Y.
Oh well, no my flying for three weeks now.
“Damn!! Forgot to open the hanger doors before pushback again!! Must make a note”
Dusseldwarf and I are booked on the Ryanair flights to Strasbourg on 7th June. We’ve flown them so much in the past few months, it has become as regular as doing your washing-up.
I can think of other airlines I would rather fly with though. I’m not a Ryanair fan.
Is that Hong Kong?
I’ve afraid Monarch don’t fly to MLA much. Only charter if any.
Have you tried Excel Airways? (Dare I advertise the competition for them!!!). They fly scheduled to MLA from Gatwick.
Worth a try?
EGNM – Couldn’t have been Monarch, although they did operate the BAC1-11. Monarch first flew in 1968.
Dan Air London gets my vote every time!
Hello
I’ve mostly been travelling in the last couple of months.
I’ve been to Cologne, Milan, Rome, Koblenz and Bilbao.
I went to Bilbao for the day on Thursday. Many thanks to the French for the compounded ATC delays on most of the flights!!!
I’m off to Brussels on Friday, Stockholm on Tuesday 15th, Copenhagen and Malmo on 30th, Hamburg on 3rd May, Berlin on 21st May and I’m in Gibraltar for four days mid-July.
I’m using my 80% staff discount off the ZB LTN-GIB-LTN flights. Only £38 return including taxes!!! Bueno!
Our recently delivered A321 has been flying for a couple of weeks now (G-OZBG). So, Monarch now have 6 aircraft flying in the latest colour scheme. G-OZBB will be back at the end of April. It is currently on lease to Zoom Airlines in Canada.
My job is now taking me into watching the movements of aviation fuel prices every day (for buying future seasons fuel in advance and hedging the price).
ciao
Flew on my first Ryanair daytrip flight on Saturday to Bergamo from Stansted.
I thought very little of Ryanair from my experience with them.
No inflight magazines were handed out, sandwiches are £4 plus from the trolley (didn’t waste my money on their food/drink), half missing safety card (what are you supposed to learn about an emergency from a ripped piece of card?!), cabin crew are too young and juvenile. PLUS, the thing that really chedder cheesed-me off was the seating. Hardly any room for your hips (I’m slim) and when the selfish women in front reclined her seat, I woke up in a startle from having my knees crushed. The cow! You only get about two inches leg room!!! There wasn’t enough room to read a newspaper properly either!
Sorry to moan. But I had to get it out of me.
I’ve got about 6 more return Ryanair flights booked for the next few months with my mates, as FR make daytrips possible at their prices. We are flying to Rome for the weekend this Saturday, and the flight will be even longer!!! Argggghhhhhh
Ryanair aren’t a patch on the traditional airlines. I think they make EasyJet look like saints!
