alright then, a few of me… first, 2004 in a boat north of Nha Trang headed for some off-shore relaxing and beer drinking, and second, this May taken at the Air Show Ottawa media launch – (i’m the goon in the middle – Michael Potter (Vintage Wings of Canada) on my left and Capt William ‘Fatty Daddy’ Raddiff (CF-18 Hornet demo pilot on my right) all flanked my the ASO executive. and lastly, a year ago at my ‘office’.

with all the ‘new build’ and restored German equipment coming along, I’d like to see a Me-110, or maybe a Do-17
and the MILF is being tackled by the Philippines military together with significant US support.
levity/humour moment…
i’ve tackled a few MILF in my time… 😉 😀
…as you were.
…and this was made for Air Show Ottawa 2005 – when the only promo shots I received of the ‘Demo bird’ were statics shot in mid February.
I was contemplating a threat along these lines a few days ago…
Here’s one I did for Eurocopter Canada a few (probably 6) years ago in the most recent competition which the EH-101 finally won.

its been posted elsewhere here before… always meant to say that it gives new meaning to “give ’em sh*t”

Contrailjj,
wouldnt that be something if he took that project on!
ohh to dream, eh? I’m just imagining the sight and sound of that beastie racing up and down the Ottawa Valley… and see CAM’s forlorn babe finally get some proper treatment as well… as far as I know, the lack of engines is the only thing that’s ‘prohibited/prevented’ work on her – they have the collectors and cowls – mind you, I haven’t seen the outer wing panels.

Vanderkloot was the ‘Yank’ who flew ‘Commando’ – the B-24
Its been a few years since I read it… I’ll give it a quick once over tonight and get back with a review 😉 (and its got photos too)

Yeah.
Still before then they were assumed to have been ‘retouched’ – which did, at least, require a smidgen of skill, and wasn’t branded.
Ahh but there is still skill (and artistry) required to make it look real 😉
Just because one has Pshop doesn’t make one a ‘pro’.
(sorry, sometimes it is my job to make the fakes)
while trying to get back to airfield length requirements… I don’t know
Geneseo: Rwy 05/23, 4695 ft (grass)…
the Talichet ‘Memphis Belle’ operated there for this year’s show, and (personal POV) Yankee Air Force ‘Aluminum Overcast’ as well as the ‘Belle’ did as well in 2004… both without any degree of excessive runway use.
now, (someone please correct me if I’m wrong) any cancellation of the CWH Lanc from Geneseo this year would not be due to the airfield, but rather tech issues – again, as far as I have been led to believe, the CWH Lanc WILL NOT LAND anywhere other than Hamilton and (IIRC) will only display at shows no more than 2 hours flying time from Hamilton.

Hi all,
went to the Fartborough airshow and noticed these engine exhausts or chaff/flare dispensers on the F/A-18 but arent sure what it is, can some one help?
I saw a demo vid the other day and wondered the same thing – looking at your pic now, I’d say they’re vents – perhaps some type of bypass on the engines…

The Stinson replica built for ‘Riddle of the Stinson’ used to be at Air World in Wangarata – snapped a pic of her there back in 98.
Anyone think of the Tigermoth (IIRC) in ‘The English Patient’?
