The birds look great in these deep blue skies.
The Spitfire… a perfect profile… very classy – just look at Flygirl’s big smile π
Merci Jean-Marc.
Superb shots of a beautiful bird – man and machine.
I’m impressed by how clean and organized these hangars are. The birds are being preped for the 2011 season so I’m looking forward to see some great new shots from all of you UK posters π
Thank you for the visit.
Very nice. Some great shots of the Sea Kings in this set.
Thanks.
Very nice RR. We see these pix in a different light today.
Thanks.
Some excellent pix here Mark even if the weather did not help at all.
The Hawk looks great helped by the compressed perspective of a tele lens. Just curious… EF 100-400?
Thank you TwinOtter. I will let you know and will take you up on that guided tour offer π
A very nice set . Thank you for sharing and taking the time to comment the pix.
wiseman – pleased to assist, Newark Air Museum fought a long battle with the taxman to make it all happen back in 1976/7! π
Thanks. I definitely want to spend some time at this museum when I visit the UK.
Very nice pix. Brand new shots of the 558 and a Spitfire as a bonus?.. works for me π
Thanks for sharing.
Nice shots of a sleek machine. Thanks.
Excellent shots. I’m trying to imagine the sound it produces at this level.
Thank you.
There are several Mystere IV’s in UK collections thanks to a USAF disposal scheme in the 1970s – some interesting pictures in this old thread including the Mystere IV pictured on this current photo thread! π
Had no idea. Very interesting. Thanks.
Very nice pix and a great crisp day for perfect colors.
