I imagine her union will be funding the action, so she has nothing to lose.
Maybe she doesn’t really like her job, and is looking for a way out ?
According to the news she has no support whatsoever from within the force or the “union”, in fact a statement has been made declaring “disappointment” that this action has been taken.

What happens if there is still an intruder on the premises who doesn’t take kindly to being arrested?, who is responsible then?.

Fascinating. Some wonderful mythology on there.
All Spitfires were painted green. The USAAF did the deep penetration stuff and the RAF mostly went South. Hadn’t realised there would be ‘rogue pilots’ from Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Still a great result.
Moggy
The “rogue pilots” comment would have gone down well on here, I imagine quite a number of people of many nationalities would not be impressed to see members of their families described as rogues.

I personally don’t get too worried about consultants. They do a job, charge and go away.
It’s the council employees who are on the payroll for ever as long as they don’t commit mass-murder, spend all day in tea-drinking ‘meetings’ and then expect index-linked pensions.
Moggy
When it comes to councils I do worry about consultants and the quality of so called council officers and councillors.
Should anyone have the temerity to question the salaries etc of the “higher” level council officers, we are told that we have to pay the top dollar to get the services of the top people.
If we accept that this is so, why then if any decision of greater importance than deciding which biscuits to take with their tea are the services of consultants required?, yet we are supposedly already paying OTT salaries for the “best”, obviously these top decision makers aren’t worth their keep.

Well, I agree. And thank you for sharing what would otherwise have passed me by as I cannot recall when I last opened the pages of that particular newspaper – certainly not since it became tabloid format.
In fact the photograph of the two sch****ters side by side, gesturing, sums it up perfectly.
The big question, which one is the biggest crook?
Barclays have been fined heavily for malpractice yet the fat cats still pick up their obscene bonus’ as if it is their right and privilege.

The NHS is suffering more and more cuts to it’s funding, big savings made this year are down to delaying ops, cutting the numbers of front line staff and forcing pay freezes on those who actually do the work, to add insult to injury our beloved Chancellor has taken this money back into treasury funds and has the crust to say that as departments have not used all their funding then they can function on less for next year.
“The NHS is safe in our hands” says Camercon, I don’t think so.
Previous posts refer to an apparently top heavy management, would agree, but what chance is there in correcting this when the incompetence starts right at the very top?.

Privatisation of public services and utilities has, is and continues to be an unmitigated disaster for the general public, monopolies created by government and we pick up the tab.
Private sector working in a true open competitive market fine, gifting monopoly positions to the private sector is just a licence for the companies concerned to print money, we can all see right before our eyes just how we get taken to the cleaners by the energy companies, what choice do any of you have with your water company? the railways are still picking up subsidies, parts have had to be taken back into public ownership, surprise, surprise reading the other day about the one rail franchise that no-one wanted because it was uneconomical, but is actually paying more into the public purse than any of the super efficient big boys.
This is what Tories are all about, hand essential services to the city financiers and speculators, then when the brown stuff hits the rotating object sit back with “not me guv” face on.
All the imposed cuts on local authorities are in the same mold, central government make the cuts, but pass the buck to local government.
Yes we need efficiency in our services, yes we need economies, but gift aiding the financiers simply passes the problem straight onto the general public and we have no options.

I hear the the Falklands are pencilled in for the first papal visit in an effort to unite the peoples of South America. 😀
