In the time it has taken you guys to talk the hind legs off a herd of donkeys you could have built the b****y thing!
Is this Mosquito going to be powered, funded, stuck together and built with hot air?
You could be on to something there. If they get any static Mossie and stick it in a clear sealed bag and float it around they won’t have to keep worrying about what bl**dy glue they use or if they take it out in the rain.

A suitable airframe has got to be worth a considerable amount before the restoration begins, I can’t see too many collections being willing to part with their complete aircraft.
suu23, the Phantom at West Freugh is XT852. XT892 was one of the last complete Phantoms that I saw in the hangar at Wattisham in december 1992.
Piece of cake, shouldn’t it have been a Hurricane!
Seriously though happy birthday.
Great shots, good weather this time too.
A few more.

Nice update, F-16 display was good. Hope you don’t mind me adding three shots from today, not really worth starting another thread for.

It’s Mojave, here’s the clip.
Very nice shots, Firecat looks good.
Great shots, B+W shots work very well.
Some of the best museums in the uk for me are the ones like Hawkinge, Flixton and some of the control towers. They tend to have lots of parts from crashed aircraft and I find the stories of the crew and the aircraft far more interesting than an aircraft hanging from a roof in some modern building.
We have had the Grace Spitfire overhead Saxmundham over the last couple of days, at least twice each day.
