    Its actually 56 so they can’t exceed the maxium speed of 60 on a motorway.

    I’m pretty sure it is still in that building there, Wrecks & Relics list it there as stored from september 03.

    This is the picture i saw of the spitfire, i believe it was taken in 2003 and shows it being pushed inside a building in the Great Yarmouth area. Sorry about the picture quality as i don’t have a scanner.

    Thats Duxford in that picture. Fowlmere was layed out slightly different to that.

    It was recently in Norfolk. I saw a picture of it in a construction magazine last year.

    Only seems like the other day when i saw the B29 fly over on its way to Mildenhall i was 8 at the time, how time passes by.

    Bader led the formation in a spitfire IX from North Weald, I’ve seen several pictures and some footage and i thought there was a picture of him in the spitfire in reach for the sky but i can’t remember exactly.
