No problem – they are very rare – you did well to find one. As for the turret, I don’t recognise it. Air Min might know, or perhaps send a pic to Elvington?
Aeroplane was always inferior to FlyPast and rather amateurish too. That said, there is nothing wrong with a bit of competition, so long as it is not second rate.
Hi Ballturret – that’s a Fraser Nash accumulator. I need one for the Whitley turret – it’s one of the few parts I had to get made from new. Would you let it go?
On the Spit the 11 or 19 drawing numbers are from the control surfaces – aileron or elevator. Can you clean up the number with a bit of wire wool to make certain?
